My AF G. pulchripes and dammit, I was hoping she was gravid. One of my 3 A. steindachneri, my A. bicoloratum and he hooked out. My daughter's P. rufilata, and C. versicolor. So it's been busy

Relieved to see the trash taken out after 3.5 weeks in hiding. Phormingochilus sp Rufus. May have to get up in the wee hours to see how much she’s grown.

I thought I was ready for the colors of a freshly matured Pampho male. I was not, he's so vibrant!

One of my b hamoriis molted last night. I had a wee bit of anxiety because they molted upright. The recent posts of people with abdomen skin not properly molted is what gave me the heebee geebees. However, all worked out fine.

i still couldnt get a read on the molt. None of the molts i get have allowed me to sex yet. I probably wait to long to get the molt, some are just torn up and others in unreachable places.

measured the molt, which was over two inches.

in the last 14 days, my rcf p murinus molted and a g pulchripes sling.

my second b hamorii should be due in less then a month. The abdomen is still beigey. His sac mate that just molted had a dark black glossy abdo, with reddish blue hues. Yesterday morning, i was looking at his abdo and noticed “stretch” marks, that were wettish. That was my cue the skin was peeling and molting was imminent.

i should have taken pictures to compare with sac mate. But, plenty of those on the board already for new members to get an idea.

in the picture, we can see how big bis abdomen still is. He was super fat to begin with and would still eat. So i stopped feeding and waited.

i suspect my kochiana brunnipes is getting ready for a molt. But that little pet hole keeps its business in the shadows.

Hello,

I was hoping to see some photos of the MM A. bicoloratum? How long was his penultimate molt cycle? Do you plan on breeding him?

I haven't had my adults very long. Their last molts were over a year and half ago. Same for my little one I've had a little over 4yrs. Its a hefty 1in+. Maybe 2in if we rack'em.

Congratulations,

I will try to get some pix. I have no idea on how long the cycle was but was considerable time (over a year). I don't keep detailed molt notes so I am sorry I cannot be more helpful.
Yes, I plan on finding him a female or 2. What's wacky is he wasn't anywhere near full grown, was still in a juvenile enclosure, but out popped a MM. Has happened 2x w H. pulchripes for me as well
