Had some of my best and worst molts recently from the same two species.

of my two H. cafreiana, one (which has been showing symptoms before the molt) molted just fine and I was hopeful it would recover…only for it to start showing the symptoms again and then die with an unexplained puncture wound.

The other one molted fine yesterday.

in addition I had one of my Parabuthus traansvalicus die in premolt with no injuries or symptoms and the other have its third molt.

0.1 Avicularia variegata, still my favorite avic species.

She's likely pushing 7" in her new suit. I'll try to get a picture of her on the wall when she comes out to stretch.

Long time no see, AB. Been in a bit of a rut after losing my B. hamorii but we finally got a molt out of someone to pull me out of that. My Grammostola maybe porteri pulled an upright molt last night. I've had this one for five years, and I know it had been at least two or three since she molted when I got her.

My juvenile T. vagans molted out female early this morning. What an excellent start to Friday the 13th!

This is my second freebie in a row that turned out to be female, so I’m super excited!! IMG_5450.jpeg

G iheringi, Nhakyrã, molted recently, emerging to show “she’s” joined the subadult club at 4ish”. Hopefully she’ll toss that molt out soon.

Avicularia sp Colombia also
molted last week, though I still can’t get a good view through the web. May have to wait till rehouse.

One of my Phormictopus sp. “Gold Carapax” is molting as I type this; the chelicerae and the first set of legs are fully free and the rest seem well on the way.

My Scolopendra gigantea also molted a couple days back, not much of a length boost (need to rehouse) but a not-inconsiderable thiccness boost.
