Hapalopus formosus female must have molted in the last few days. She's off to a new home tomorrow, nice of her to change into fresh clothes.

Last night, I discovered that Genicula (Acanthoscurria geniculata) molted into a mature male. It’s a bittersweet moment, as he is one of my all-time favorite tarantulas. Hopefully I can find someone who needs him, because I’d love to raise a couple of his slings.

One of my G. pulchra hooked out during the last few days. Noticed it tonight. Plan to contact a couple of breeders tomorrow.

All hail the king!
I feel you. I’ll be sad when my Sacha matures in the next molt or two. Love that T.

Doggy the G Rosea molted somewhat unexpectedly for me today. They were looking darker like they did before the last molt about two months ago. It was a surprise because they hadn’t molted before then since last November. It was crazy because I dropped a cricket in Friday and I thought I saw it eating. Then Saturday evening I see the cricket in there still and a mess of new web. I’m glad I pulled that cricket. B176C9CC-E93D-4A95-84BA-38A9A194F094.jpeg 8B41FFA6-553E-4FBE-BEC8-A272C7AE14E6.jpeg

T seladonia molted this morning. Had it since August of last year. Still new to the hobby and so far I think I been doing good with all 7 of my ts.

Purchased a Phormictopus sp. Dominican Purple at an expo last week. The seller said it was in its 3rd instar(the seller breeds Ts but I don't know if the breeder was him or one of his colleagues).
Wouldn't eat ANYTHING and I should have known it was in pre-moult. Anyways, it moulted this morning and I got to watch it a little as it finished up before I left for work.
Here's a picture I took before I had to leave. But I have that enclosure up on stream and have checked and it's now upright and moving around.

5pm: hmm looks suspiciously like I might have a bigger spider soon...

7pm: erm. Ok, that was sooner than I thought, but nice work Drama Queen! (Y. diversipes, second molt since arrival in August.)

Also in molting shenanigans today, this was less than 5 minutes after I dumped the new crickets into the feeder bin:

Poor dude had been sitting around "pre-bagged" all day 🙄

Caribena Versicolor second successful molt with me, this time they molted up in their webbing 🥹 Last molt was 8/23/24 and they molted on the ground but in the bottom of a web tunnel.

Seems to have molted within the last hour, I tried my best to get a picture.
