Very courteous and professional , great packing and low cost shipping
Bought a penultimate Brachypelma albiceps from Chalcodesllc, needed for a breeding project> Packing was great, communication excellent, WILL NOT hesitate to purchase from again! Very prompt deal all the way.
I actually sold something to him back in September 2019, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that he had something that I wanted to buy a few months later. Everything went smoothly and would not hesitate to do business again!
Suspected success on the first go. Paired them again on 1/20/2020 and believe there was a successful insertion.
Did not do anything special to prepare. My female is a full adult - probably 2-3 years old. I made sure she had a good meal before introducing the male.
Male in female enclosure. Once she retreated to her hide area the male was taken out, both times.
It was awe-inspiring to watch. There wasn't a lot of drumming, but the male vibrated quite a bit. She was very receptive almost immediately.
Post Mating Care
I am waiting on a sac. I did renovate her enclosure to give both of us a bit more room (same enclosure size, just different decor). She webbed up her new hide extensively by 2/5/2020, but then came out and broke down all her webbing on 2/11/2020. Food was offered but vehemently refused. I have put a 25 watt halogen light on her enclosure and am bumping up the humidity - I've heard that can sometimes move things along.
Time & Care
I will come back and update this when I get a sac. I am planning on leaving it with the female for as long as I can since I am a relative newbie. I know this species can double-clutch, so fingers crossed.
I will update this when the magic happens.
This was the first tarantula I bought. I got her from a friend of a friend in October 2019. I saw her and was completely enchanted by her colors. I later learned they are not recommended as a first T, but I'm an experienced reptile keeper and I haven't had any issues. The male I borrowed for the breeding did show me what a teleporting T looks like, but my female is very chill. As a mature adult female she doesn't eat a lot. I feed her larger prey off tongs.
Currently she is in an Exo-Terra Nano Tall but I will be sizing her up one step.
My experience with her has been 5-star. There's nothing I regret about getting her as my first T.
My 3 juv C. cyaneopubescens arrived today, looking healthy and active. I was only going to buy one, but the prices were so great I got three! They were safely packaged and the communication with the seller was very fast.
Great communications. Beautiful and healthy tarantula.
I got a female P. regalis and some dubia roaches from Eddie. I had great communications with Eddie and he shipped out the package fast. The tarantula arrived well and safe. There’re plenty of overcounts on the dubia too. Great experience!
Got a pair of vinegaroons and a scolopendra polymorpha + a freebie polymorpha. Everything came well packaged(best I’ve ever seen so far). Despite the colder temps and heat pack, everything came alive and well. Will definitely do business again with him.
I looked at many dealers and breeders for a good deal on GBBs and Dave's 3 for $99 special is a great deal for this species. Dave was very responsive to my e-mails. I live in Alaska and Dave used four boxes and a heat pack for the three GBBs that I purchased. All three ate the day they arrived. Dave also included lobster roaches for free.
Appreciated the great communication throughout the process. Tarantulas were shipped right away and packaged perfectly. They are amazing specimens and great additions to my collection. I would suggest, and buy from, MobBurrow again!
Purchased two slings from Michael, a B. Klaasi and T. Vagans. He shipped them out on Monday and they have arrived today, on Thursday, alive and in perfect health. He even sent me some plastic deli cups free of charge!
I have only had these two for about an hour now, but I am absolutely in love. Thank you Michael! Highly recommended.
I purchased 3 GBB slings, one which died shortly after arrival (possibly because I prodded and moved it while it was attempting a molt) and two that were perfectly healthy. Free dubias were included with my order. Even though I emailed explaining the death was probably due to an error on my part and not a result of bad packaging or being sent a sick animal, I was given the option of a refund or a replacement T. I took the spider and ordered a sexed B emelia along with it. Both arrived very active, and the juvenile B emelia is as pictured. Though I’m sad I lost an animal, the customer service was beyond what I expected. I love dealing with this shop.
I ordered 66 tarantulas, which I received yesterday morning. Packaging was great and easy to unpack. The straws that the spiders were packed in made it very simple to get the babies out. They were ALL alive, well, and very active! I have nothing but positive things to say about this purchase experience!
I purchased a A. avicularia M6 and a N. chromatus from inland sea today. It so happened that I was local and he agreed to do a local pick up instead of shipping.
This was around 3 weeks in the making as I am a reserve soldier and work in the construction industry. It is very hard for me to be able to break away for a specific time in the middle of the week, or when I have military duty. @Inland Sea was very understanding even after having to cancel 3 times. He showed up on time and was great to work with. Communication was stellar and my spiders are healthy and housed now.
I am totally happy with the service I received and I highly recommend this seller.
Fast Shipping, Fast Communication, Knowledgeable, Great Packing
We agreed on a breeding loan and he was fast to answer any questions I had about the breeding project. The T arrived here healthy and promptly. I would do service with him again and plan to do future business with him! All around great experience!
