Both my 0.0.2 Psalmopoeus ecclesiasticus molted this week and will be rehoused on Saturday.

Also the Euphrynichus bacillifer finally molted. This one grows quite slowly, 150-180 days between molts.

My Tliltocatl kahlenbergi molted a little while back and has become the most skittish spider in the universe 💀
This is the best look I've gotten so far (taken about 0.02 seconds before a frantic retreat to the burrow)

So far she's eaten 2 mealworms, a horn worm, and 3 crickets. It's been about 3 hours since the crickets and I'm already seeing toes 😆.
Never enough food for this one....

Mooreae??? Mine just started getting red hairs last month. 1-1.25” right?? I literally just got on here bc I sexed it female! I have two small tabs. So small tho I don’t have anything to move them without getting my jewelry magnifying tool from not being able to see.

It's common nomenclature that denotes the sex ratios of a given population. It can be read as males.females.unsexed. For an example, a 1.2.1 group of A. mooreae would be 1 male, 2 females, and 1 unsexed specimen.

Thank you for explaining that

It's been a while since I posted here. I've had quite a few molts since the last time, but I won't bore you with all of them. A handful of my tiny dwarf species have molted in the last few days, though...

0.1 Euthycaelus amandae, 1.75" DLS. This one had to be rescued from the brink of death - it molted the legs fine, but carapace and abdomen were stuck and it was extremely weak. It seems like it's on the right track now, but it was touch and go for a bit...
PC040018.JPG

0.0.1 Hapalotremus marcapata, 0.875" DLS
PC040016.JPG

1.0 Acentropelma sp. Chiapas, 2.75" DLS, in his hidey-hole (fire butt alert!)
PC040023_1.JPG

0.1 Neischnocolus iquitos, 1.75" DLS
PC040003.JPG

0.0.1 Neischnocolus cisnerosi, 1.0" DLS (ready to hide in a strawberry patch!)

And another sling, but not so much a dwarf:

1.0 Pamphobeteus insignis, 2.25" DLS
PC040012.JPG

No pics, but also had notable molts from:

0.0.1 Ornithoctoninae sp. Veronica (0.75" DLS)
0.0.1 Theraphosidae sp. azul (1.125" DLS)
0.1 Theraphosinae sp. dorado (1.5" DLS)
0.1 Acanthogonotus pissi (1.625" DLS)
1.0 Psalmopoeus cambridgei (4" DLS, suspect penultimate)
2.0 Cyriopagopus sp. Valhalla (both about 4.5" DLS)
2.0 Phormingochilus sp. Sabah red (both are now mature males)

Also my Psalmopoeus reduncus female, but she's staying deep in her burrow for now.

Juvenile 0.1 Aphonopelma jacobii. Was a wee little unsexed speck last September, but now a comfortable 7/8" DLS.

That’s really amazing, carapace and abdomen both. Could you post a detailed thread about how you accomplished this?
