'Dorado' (Dora), sub/young adult female g. pulchripes molted yesterday morning. Lovely clean molt & I can already tell that she's put on some real size!

Back-to-back sling molts this weekend -- today it was T. sp violaceus "T3" who showed up looking like rice noodles.

Obligatory terrible photo:

What a lovely *squints* pink blob you've got there. Just gorgeous.
Gotta love a tiny clump of skinny white noodle legs... I'll see y'all over in the "Stretch!" thread when they graduate to full-on facehugger I'm sure! 🤣

I was surprised to see this one even that little bit visible while still so fresh. I think it's getting more comfortable now that it has a decent web complex built up.

How long have you had this specimen? This appears to be what was imported as O. sp Ranong Blue two years ago.
Got her and her early diseased male sac mate last year (15 of October to be precise) as slings. I had similar impression when I first saw her but I think it's just the lighting tricking us, appears aureotibialis to me from a different angle/position.

This is also her not long after her previous molt.

Agreed, I have both species and the secondary pictures are clearly O. aureotibialis. Here's a side by side comparison as well, for anyone curious:

(Yes these were the best photos I got, I don’t actually know if it’s a male)

My greatest fear with these is that I'll miss it, and their opportunity to mate along with :(
It's hard to miss - the leg situation is ridiculous when they mature...

Little Phormictopus auratus sling had their first molt in my care. Time for a housing upgrade once they're all hardened up. 20241222_094444.jpg

The bumblebutt obviously molted and is letting me know he (just a gut feeling) is ready to eat now.
I only ever get the molts when rehousing and they are trashed.
