Who molted today?

Obscure, yet with the appearance of a hobby staple

I mean it was only today I suspected that I might not actually have a G rosea.... I'm really not good at these things

Please hold while I dig up my help post what's wrong with my Ts abdo

But in the interim here's a morsel

Spider, bought as G. rosea.

When I bought this spider, i thought it was G. rosea RCF. Now I think it's P. scrofa. Am I right?

It's a dark lump, like a wart on an old dog. The old molt won't budge (with one gentle stroke). I have to leave for a 24 hour shift :(

Never even heard of that sp but shes very pretty, looks just like my SO's oaxaca too if you Google the sp you'll see what I mean .

Big female Avicularia variegata. Can't wait for her to venture out and stretch. Four other adults have molted out this week as well (Poecilotheria ornata, Psalmopoeus victori, Aphonopelma sp Michoacan, and Phormingochilus sp Sabah Dwarf) with a lot more in premolt.

My Liphistius cf Yangea "Suwat" armored trapdoor spider molted early today. It should be somewhere between 2.5-3" DLS now. I've never recovered a molt from this one, so not sure on the sex, but I'm suspecting female. It's not the easiest spider to photograph since it's always underground and the inside of the burrow is smeared with mud, but here are some attempts, . It's in that crazy translucent, blue-green phase of hardening post molt! Lots of spikes...




Also, my young female P. cambridgei has made a molt mat and is doing the slow roll onto her back (emphasis on slow)...

My p. Metallica molted and unfortunately it's behind the cork so I'll have to wait a while before I can check the molt to see if it's male or female.

Came back from a short city break and oh boy did they molt in the last few days.

• The other Psalmopoeus langenbucheri molted soon after their sibling
• Hapalopus formosus female
• Heterothele gabonensis, suspected female but she had torn the abdomen off the molt
• Brachypelma bohmei male
• Tliltocatl vagans, young female
• Catumiri argentinense, unsexed juvenile
• Cyriocosmus ritae, suspected male that turned out to be a female

Absolutely stunning T's and mine are both pretty relaxed. Unfortunately, they are also both male so I might dish out for a confirmed female next time. Possibly my favourite pokie but P subfusca lowland have a really nice look to them as well.
