Thank you, he is 9 and it didn't go down well, like me because skittles carried on eating drinking and even hunting for himself the bairn expected him to correct the bad moult. We buried skittles this morning and I think it helped the bairn let go a little. He understands though sometimes things happen, it's better to cherish the time we got then dwel on the time we didn't.
I think that kind of closure of important. Kid’s got a good mum.

Yesterday my chilobrachys kaeng krachen sling Merope moulted. First in my care and one of my 7 sisters (🤞sisters) , only ate 2 days ago so did not expect it at all but moulted yesterday & all went well. I have no pic of Merope herself unfortunately, she's in her burrow n the web is way too thick to even see the entrance but even though the moult was twisted up really badly where she chucked it from her burrow was 1.5 inches on the it n am saying suspect female 😊. 20240223_171529.jpg
Pics rubbish (still havent replaced my lens) but I see 2 very dark bobbly bits among the rips n twists but will wait for a better shape moult before I get too excited.... I have been duped before 😆
Well done Merope 👏

Had 6 moults today 😊

Chilobrachys fimbratus unsexed sling Asterope, moult was outside the burrow 1cm dls on the moult. No pic.

Chilobrachys dyscolus blue unsexed sling Taygete ,1.2cm dls on the moult again found outside the burrow. No pic.

Psalmopoeus ecclesiasticus Lucille 2 inch dls on the moult n pretty sure we are a girl 😁 20240225_190035(0).jpg

Psalmopoeus victorii juvenile female Harlequin. No pic or dls as she's in her corktube with the moult n my phone will only focus on her web looks like she could of hit 3.5inch dls this moult though n all looked like it went well.

Pamphobeteus mascara af Elinor 🥰 been waiting for this girl to moult and I am so excited 😊 unfortunately there is no pic coz she's in her burrow and she hasn't chucked the moult yet so no dls but can see the moult all squished up in her window and her beautiful legs tucked just behind the entrance. Think she's about 6.5 inch dls now 🥰

Last but not least Homoeomma peruvianum af Fizzgig moulted only one that let me get a pic although she hasn't chucked her moult I can still see that in her burrow so no dls but guessing she could of hit 2.5 inches on this one. 20240225_131011.jpg

Well done little ones 👏

Little GBB had a molt today. Looks like everything went smoothly, and she's still looking pretty plump even after the molt. I think she *may* have been slightly overfed last molt cycle. 😅 20240228_093216.jpg

My Theraphosinae sp Cuzco, Machu Picchu, moulted again looks like all went well there's 1.5 inches on the moult and I think I have a female but not 100% because 1 the moult was chewed and 2 I have no reference pic anywhere on the interwebs to be sure of the shape am looking for 😆

Not actually a recent molt, but one of my two N. Incei finally tossed out their last molt from like a month ago. First fully intact molt that I've been able to get a good look at. And...it's a girl! Oliver has now officially been renamed Olivia. 20240229_104555.jpg
