Well today was a great day... especially since it's a leap year (feb. 29 😏) .. as I'm collecting the eggs that my bearded dragon laid today 🥰, I glance over to see one of my ladies tossing out a molt.

4 molts today.

0.0.1 Cyriopagopus sp. Valhalla, should be 3" or so. All I can make out in the burrow are fire-orange setae...

0.0.1 Ceratogyrus brachycephalus, around 1.25" DLS - look at that nub!
1000018629.jpg

0.0.2 Eucratoscelus pachypus, both 0.75" DLS. Looks like this one did the ol' hanging molt technique, lol (that's the exuvia hanging on the inside of the burrow entrance)...

Come down this morning to find a moult from my smaller Grammostola pulchra Griselda n erm think we need a name change .
20240302_053803.jpg
Pretty sure we ain't a girl with 2.3 inch on the moult but nm we love him anyways 😊 at least he is big enough for his juvenile viv now only took 2 years 🤣 and last night Treacle my Psalmopoeus pulcher sling moulted was actually hoping for a male so i could breed him with my girl Puddin once he was old enough as my first breeding project but...
20240301_134727.jpg
Treacle is a female 😆 not complaining though that's 7 psalmopoeus unsexed slings I have bought and 5 females so far 2 still unsexed. The psalmo gods smile on me 🥰
No pics of the t's one is in the burrow other in the web but both moults were perfect and both hid as soon as I touched the vivs so assuming alls good.
Well done little ones 👏

0.0.1 Davus sp. Oaxaca molted today. The exuvia measured 3/16" DLS, 😆:

My 0.1 Phormingochilus sp. Sabah red molted today, as well, but she's still in her burrow so no pics yet. This one was already sexed, waiting on molts from a couple more to see if any others are female... 😉

Also had a molt by 0.0.1 Augacephalus breyeri, about 1.125" DLS. No pics of that one either, but I promise it happened (I think). Ha!

My big n. tripepii 'Rust' who has been in premolt for many months finally did the deed last night, got some pics of her journey over the past night/day:

She'd just finished this morning

By this afternoon she was up & moving around, went back to her hide looking xtra fluffy!

Just an hour ago she re-emerged to munch on the molt (sorry for the sound!)

My Omothymus schioedtei molted I think this is it's third or fourth. I haven't pulled the molt yet to try and sex. It tossed it up in the fake plants and I thought it had pulled it back down in its burrow for whatever odd reason and I didn't notice until this morning when I was feeding before work. It's pushing four inches dls now.

My Ybyrapora diversipes sling has just moulted, and I'm so happy! Its last moult was in September, and once I tried feeding it, it became apparent that the sucking stomach hadn't moulted successfully. It showed a nicely aggressive feeding response, but after 24 hours the cricket was still almost completely intact, and there was no increase in abdomen size. I tried again over the next few weeks but the result was the same, and similar for drops of water placed on the web - it would attempt to drink from them but without success. I checked up on it every day and fully expected to find it curled up dead one day, but this morning it was on its back, so I carefully moistened the substrate to increase the humidity, then waited. I'll try to retrieve the moult later and check to see if the stomach is there - fingers crossed!
I'll create a new thread once it's feeding and I know there are no other problems. View attachment 463511
This little beauty moulted again today, and this time has grown significantly. Hopefully there'll be no further sucking stomach issues and it will continue to thrive. Y. diversipes 04.jpg

The t gods smile on me alot n I thank them for it 😊, although this time this little lady actually came to me as a confirmed female, but its nice to be able to check for myself. I have "confirmed females" that weren't lol so not always so lucky n always like to double check.

I am sure soon your girl will show up, they reckon for every 3/4 males you get a female so she can't be that far off 😉🤞🤞🤞

Tiny h Peruvianum molted last night or this morning. Just another 3 years until it’s the size of a clear spider.
I grew my girl from this size too! it took 2/2.5 years for her to hit her adult size 😊 please keep me updated I have never seen anyone else with one !
My little Fizzgig was crazy as a sling unreal food response would charge my fingers through the plastic but now a days she spends her time sitting like this and only moves when food drops at her feet 😆
