Didn't wanna say this while you were in the midst of it but 98% of my molts have been on slings under 1/2"
My eyes are crap, so I have to wear jeweler’s glasses to even see this little one. Hopefully with her size gain I’ll be able to see her easier now, lol. Good on you guys that are able to care for those tiniest wee ones. I’m not up to that job! ;-)

Yeah my eyesight is pretty bad too, when I'm your age I'm definitely gonna have trouble too.

Here's one of my Panama's out looking for crickets this morning.

This C. versicolor has been the highest maintenance drama queen ever. If you know, I've been having a lot of trouble taking care of this one.

It was on life support for over a month, and it seems to have pulled through!! *knock on wood*

I'm so excited, I haven't felt this rush in years! 😆 @TLSizzle

Now I don't even want to go into work 😅

I think ya just called me old there..
;-)
My optometrist warned me I’d be wearing bifocals by the time I was 30 if I kept wearing my distance glasses while looking at a computer screen. I showed him. I made it to 35 before I got bifocals!

No offense intended! We all become elders and then seniors eventually. I respect you more because you have that extra time under your belt.

I'm feeling the years come on already and you do have 18 years on me! 😅

No offense taken. I’m not sensitive nor ashamed of my age. I’ve had many great experiences. :) I am old fashioned in my emoji use though, lol.

I said the same, but seriously once u hit 40, you notice everything going and by near 50, things hurt that you didn’t know could. If only I could molt. Get out there and live it up while your spry! And when you’re not spry, buck it up cupcake and get out there anyway! ;-)

😱 you got to 40 before your body betrayed you , lucky so n so 😆, I started making granny noises at 30 🤣🤣🤣

Jokes aside, Mary my little Thrixopelma pruriens female moulted yesterday, I had alot on so didn't get to posting her on here but now I am lol. She did real well everything where it should be n even at 1.5 inches on the moult, I can see she is definitely a she with out the macro lens 😆 20231102_104601.jpg 20231102_095857.jpg
Loving her new colours though. Well done Mary 🥰🥰🥰

My suspected female Psalmopoeus victori molted yesterday evening. Can't wait to take some proper photos of that red fluff.

Chroma is finally out and about after their molt, they are about 1.5" now and steadily growing. Loving the skeli legs!

I have 3 moults to report today.

Lucille psalmopoeus ecclesiasticus sling first out of my recent additions to moult, moulted yesterday but still to tiny to see gender but all went well with a full inch on the moult. 20231104_112922.jpg
Not the best pic but tiny toes 😆

Orwen 1 of 3 thrixopelma ockerti sac mates , this one has moulted a good week after the others but seems to have put on a lot more size. I am hopeful Orwen is female as they are the boldest and my favourite of the 3 but don't tell the others.

Having a good post moult stretch, I suspect we moulted late last night but I haven't pulled the moult as you can see it's webbed in now.

Norma-Jean my Nhandu tripepii that was sold to me as a female but so was the chromatis that came with her which is actually a male, so I will be checking to confirm if I can get this moult she webbed the last one into her burrow wall 🙄. Moulting as I write, wishing her luck n will post again once she's done if I get the moult this time 😆 20231106_095216.jpg
Excuse the reflection but I wasn't moving the viv for a pic. Go Norma-Jean 😊

Gothmog has gone through another moult and while still not that big is well on his/her way to adult colouration. What great spiders GBBs are to raise from slings.

I feel like I only ever post things gone wrong. This is a molt gone right. She's already ventured to her hide.

During the last few days, all of my new Cyriocosmus perezmilesi slings (0.0.7), Cyriocosmus elegans slings (0.0.2) and Hapolopus formosus slings (0.0.2) moulted. All were L1 when I got them, except the C. elegans which were L2, and now they're all L3 or L4. I've forgotten just how much fun it is to watch these little guys grow, and how much fun it is to watch them gather the courage to start tackling pinhead roaches. You go, little beasts! 🕷

I was checking on everything this morning and my Omothymus schioedtei is either still molting or just has. I'll check back in on it later.
This will be the last molt for it in this deli cup if all goes well.

Been running errands most of the morning but got back home and everything seems to have went well. Just giving it time to harden and ready to be able to feed and we will all get a good look because it's definitely rehousing time.

Surprise molt from my Amazonius germani, subadult female. She was out on display pretty much all the time and I didn't even notice her changing clothes  Her previous molt was just 60 days ago.
