Today I rehoused my larger Tliltocatl albopilosus, as well as both 0.0.2 Cyriocosmus sellatus.

Also prepared three other spiders for rehoming this weekend. I donated them for a charity fundraiser to support animals from the areas affected by the recent flood.

Today in the Spider room....just drinking a cold beer and having an amazing time observing my spiders...
watching my little H.mac seemingly gazing at me


Or watching my sweet little I. mira popping out of her trapdoor to catch a cricket.
Shes diving in and out like a sandshark or a little kid hiding under its blanket?

Today was rehousing my 3 thrixopelma ockerti sisters and while Orddu and Orgoch were shy Orwen as always was star of the show

, its the worst when you love a sp n get boys, b smithi did that to me 4x before I gave up n bought a confirmed female, but I was very very lucky with the ockerti I bought 3 unsexed slings, little sac mates of 1cm dls and all 3 turned out to be female. Its a shame they aren't older or I would of been asking for a loan on your male lol , would love to breed them one day but my girls are no where near ready.

Clementine (B emilia) has been working full time to keep her water dish full of dirt

And Lychee (T kahlenbergi), after digging a nice cozy burrow has moved on to decorating her plant

Apparently Roxy hates the new artificial plant I put in her enclosure. She's quite determined to pull it out of the ground and get rid of it!

I just got done Rehousing of lasiodora difficilis, a day ago .

On this episode of offering mature males food, MM H pulchripes actually did fall over while threat posing me/said food.

He stayed like this for some time, then I noticed he had gradually slid down into an almost thread pose/playing dead combo. I lightly tapped his enclosure. You stand up straight when you’re threat posing me Mr!

That emilia- impressive burrow. Mine never was interested in burrowing. I am surprised it hasn't caved in.

I had a somewhat similar situations with a H. chilense- such busy engineers.

Finaly! She’s out. I took that as a sign she was ready for a big fat juicy female cricket. And boy did she take it.

Carmen the Nhandu color has come out from her over a month post molt. And where was she? In the water bowl.

she grew in legs mostly but a bit of carapace too. Shes around 4’5” if not bigger. Can’t believe i bought her as an unsexed 2”.
