1. Does anyone have any of those stick on name tags? We can write our real name on top and our screen name below.This will help us to get to know each faster.I have a sharpie

2. Ken, I'm bringing 2 bags of chips.What else should I bring? Do you have any quantity of crickets that you might be able to sell?

3. Does anyone want to buy some terrariums?I have several sizes and some used heat pads ,too

4. I have a couple of extra tarantula books if somebody wanted to buy them..Let me know ok?

Name tags are a cool idea. I'll bring some with me. How many do we need?

I would definitely be interested in some new terrariums!! I'll be bringing one with me that has one glass side, three screen sides and a sliding screen top. It was designed for reptiles and I don't really like it for Ts or bugs because of the sliding top but that's just me. It would work fine for an arboreal spidy. I'll be selling it for CHEAP. Or trading for pretty much anything.

Anyone bringing non T inverts? I'm looking for few roaches, millipedes or other goodies. I traded my A. Hentzi's but I might bring my little p. cancerides female.

Yes I have some large crickets and size 3 crickets left I think...I have to make sure they are all still ok as I left them outside in the box. If you want you can bring soda as the guy bringing those canceled as he got a job and has to work. THanks!

I will be bringing 20 hamburger patties, buns, cheese slices, red onions, pickles, lettuce and tomato. Whew! Could somebody else provide catsup, mayo and mustard? And whatever else you like on your burgers. (everything but the kitchen sink :razz Also, I just got a large order of Med/lg crickets and will be bringing several hundred of them to sell. And, I'll be bringing 3 tables, 8 folding chairs, ice chest, sunglasses, etc, etc...Oh, and of course, BUGS!

I have about 2000 large and 2000 size 3s left to sell as I over ordered. I checked them at lunch and they are still fine.

We need about 40 nametags.
I'll bring a sign in/contact sheet with name ,address,phone numbers and email addresses.I'll bring a sharpie.
I'll also be bringing 4 african mantids (1 free with each purchase of a T)and 3 -2 spot roaches(the roaches are free to the first person who purchases a T from me)
I'll bring sodas and chips.
I need a few hundred crickets
I should be there a little early to help set up and stay a little after to help clean up


Issues to discuss,while we meet each other

2.T shirt + bumper sticker designs + prices
3. Should we officially set-up a SF Bay Area Tarantula Society with a leadership group?
4 When is the next meeting? What is the format for our meetings,do we keep them casual as we have them now?
Who would like to compile info for us so we can get a sense of direction on where to go from here?

Let's keep things simple,it is suppose to be a fun and relaxing hobby.

no doubt...definitely a great meeting. i came home with one of those klugiis myself :0) along with a handfull of other amazing spiders...the only downside to me attending these functions is i leave with very little money hahaha. great to meet all of you!

Great pic, Okitasoshi! You and Pancho now belong to the proud few of the "Klugi Owners Association" They are amazing as adults. I had a GREAT time yesterday meeting new faces and seeing familiar ones. All the food was fantastic and everybody did an awesome job of providing the delicious edibles. Many thanks to Ken, Georgie and Lee for all the hard work they put into making this bash possible and for letting us have the run of their house for the day! It was really cool to see Ken's collection who has thousands and all the neat critters everyone else brought. I made a good trade with Ken for a little Brachypelma klassi which I've wanted for a long time. There were lots of freebies to go around including a couple of adult White striped birdeaters. I can't wait until the next one in September, you guys ROCK! :clap:
