I have 3 younger ones which are starting to become juvenile. Question is how many owners feel like thiers are aggressive as most descriptions imply and does it seem to come at later stage. Mine have not done anything yet but sometimes I am over trusting in feeding cleaning in such a small/tall area. I have all my arboreals setting together as with other like species and I forget sometimes which one I am dealing with at times (old age) "sometimers" kicks in. I am sure if I get nailed I will remember. Has anyones shown them any aggrevation or threat display.

A.b.

I am aware of some owners reporting their A.B.'s to be aggressive, but I have yet to observe mine display any temper tantrums. Nervous perhaps, but not mean. These can get get quite large for aboreals, much larger than their Avicularia counterparts.
And as always, greased lightning when disturbed.

Went looking for some digital photo software (to post better T pics!) and decided to drop into the Petco next door. Saw this Avicularia sp. (simply labeled "pink toe"). Seemed in good health, but they had him in a terestrial set-up. As with most of these pet shops, they didn't know a thing about their inverts, so I don't know if this is male or female yet. However, I figured that $24 for what I am assuming to be an adult avic (maybe 5") isn't too bad.
