I honestly need opinions from people experienced with this species. There's certainly something there, but it just seems too small to be sperathecae to me. Even for a dwarf species with noodle spermathecae. That plus what almost looks like epiandrous fusillae through the molt and I'm just not sure.
I put off getting Avicularia for so many years and this girl was my first. She's old now, well over a decade, and doesn't have the best appetite anymore. Her moults are coming three years apart and I am always prepared for her to go.
I paired her in Feb and again mid April (my male was not in the mood In March) and today we finally have a sac! I’m so excited! This is my first attempt at pairing Ts, so I went for an easy one. I hope it’s good!
