YAY! :D
My first post in the tarantula pictures forum. I must first make an announcement. I have been tempted by tarantula's for quite a while and now I have finally been bitten. The scorps are diminishing in numbers whilst my t's are expanding!
So, to commemorate this event, here are pics of my Avicularia metallica.
I have no idea whether it is male or female so....

Sorry if the pics are a little large. They lose something when scaled down!

ENJOY!

Here is my little buddy Itsy, being very sweet-natured as usual. I took these right after I tore down her cage, webbing and all, for a good cleaning. I doubt my Cobalt would be so forgiving!

I've never seen A. hurriana. Very nice! Is she really that golden? What color will she mature into? Just curious.

Macabre again; out because of cage maintenance(the glass she lives in had been turned virtually opaque because of all the webbings and other stuff). It took the chance to shoot poo at my brother. She's actually grown a couple of millimetres since the last photo. Fantastic little things!

Freddie - when you happen to be passing by, drop in for a cup of tea and get it yourself. ;P
