And so it is. After waiting a month, I traded in some T's on Sunday. In return all I wanted was a rosehair and carapoensis. Both females.

The short of it all, my last rosehair died. I absolutely have to always have one. I had a carapoensis 20yrs ago, although misidentified as something else, I fell in love then, and I'm newly in love again. <so happy to have this one.

Enjoy,

A friend of mine convinced me to get a widow, so I bought her off of him at the expo.

Got also a Dolichothele diamantinensis and a freebie Psalmo.

Picked up a beautiful juvenile G. pulchripes, but don’t have any photos since she immediately went for the hide after removing her from the cup.

You gotta love paying a premium for a sexed animal, then having it seal up its burrow within 2 hours of being in its new home.
If I’m lucky I’ll see her again in a month or two lol!

Ok I seem experienced with T's and I am not sorta became a T parent by accident but anyway I don't know a lot about them but this is the situation...my wife decided that it was a good idea to get the enclosure and took all the webbing out of the enclosure and yesterday it was on the ground not moving so I remove the 1 cricket it didn't eat last week and I thought it was cold so I turned the oven on and let the kitchen warm up and it started moving and climbed up in the leafs of the plants and now one leg looks translucent so I believe it is molting will it be ok??

This is the wrong thread for this question. This thread is to show off new additions recently acquired. Please post this to a new thread with pictures and people will help you. We can’t see what is going on without pics. Clearing out all the webbing is like someone coming into your house, taking all the furniture, curtains, linens, clothes, anything on the walls..everything and leaving you sitting in a clear glass box. That is their home and their webbing makes it their safe place to live. Always take uneaten prey out after 24 hrs. Please post the temperature in your home in your new thread as well. I don’t let mine go below 68 for juvies and adults, 70 for slings. If it is molting, leave it be. That may have been their molting mat that was destroyed. Please post all of this in a new thread so others can help, too.
