Both are roughly an inch or so. Probably a little over.
I really like them. They're slow to grow but just plain neat. One of those species i waited to get until the price was right but always wanted. Now, i wish I'd have just spent a few extra bucks and had em sooner.
Are you getting slings?
Ah okay, I see. Im in that dilemma right now, I could spend a little more and get another female, but I already have 1 4in female that I thought was male. Lucky me.

I'll be getting a penultimate male and 2 large females.

One of the females I'm getting.

Oh yeah, and congrats on confirming a female.

Cheers

The largest of my 0.0.3 Hmac slings, one of my P. ornata trio and one of my 0.0.2 Cyriopagopus hainanus slings molted into juveniles a few days back, as did an Ornithoctoninae sp. "Vietnam Silver" sling. One of my Phormictopus sp. "Gold Carapax" slings also molted yesterday.

One of my Liocheles australasiae must have molted quite a while back going by her size increase, though I don't know when.

0.0.1 Bumba horrida sling molted this afternoon. Unfortunately I missed this one as well. I saw it beginning to flip on its back but did not end up checking back until after it had molted since I know it can take well over hour for them to actually beginning molting after flipping over. Ah well. Next time.
That is 7 Ts that have molted in the last 30 days! More than half my collection of 12! Guess that’s one nice thing about having all slings and juveniles; you experience a lot more molts a lot more frequently.

More molts happening:

0.0.1 Pterinochilus murinus DCF (Mikumi)

0.0.1 Ephebopus rufescens (2.75" DLS)

And here's a pic of the tiny H. chilensis that molted 2 days ago, along with it's molt on my pinky finger - at least it's growing!

Last night, my largest female Grammostola pulchra had made herself a molt mat - good news, as it's been close to 400 days since her last molt (and you can tell by how brown she is):

By morning she had flipped onto her back, but hadn't started to molt yet:

When I got home from work this afternoon, she'd finished up and looks great. She'll be somewhere between 4.5" and 5" DLS once she gets stretched out:

L. Sazimai finally molted for me, it's taken a little over a year but the day finally arrived!
20230706_085959.jpg And bonus surprise, thought it might molt out MM today, after doing my best with the chewed up molts thrown out of its den and a couple attempts at vent sexing. Surprise! Guess we've got a Mrs. Nosferatu :D 20230706_085111.jpg

T. rasti male, still immature and my giant female P. cancerides molted again. Swiped her shed as soon as she wiggled off it. Hope her boyfriend matures soon!

1.0 Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens (3.5" DLS):

This morning I had molts from:

0.0.1 Augacephalus ezendami (1.25" DLS):

0.0.1 Avicularia hirschii (1.5" DLS) - love this little one:

My king baboon (0.1 Pelinobius muticus) molted sometime in the last month, but who knows when. I only know because I found her wadded up molt in the corner of her burrow when I was checking on her last night. She's getting big, probably over 5" DLS.

My A. Germani molted today. I present one super fresh orange leg and a tiny sliver of abdomen as evidence. 20230708_211831.jpg

I had one of those incredible cascades of molting today. This morning, I went to feed the Ts and my P. metallica was in molt position. I was so focused on the pokie, I didn't even notice my A. purpurea was also molting. Then around noon, my T. vagans started molting, and just now, I saw that my B. smithi has flipped over, lol. I also have an Avic avic that's ready to pop any minute.

Where them pics at Lowkey? Sounds like a nice cascade to be viewing. Why you leaving us out?
The arboreals are all squinched up in places where web makes it hard to get pics and the other two are in their hides. Pics come after they venture out again😉
