No, he was in a pet store. I bought him specifically to hook up with Wade's female (which he did). I have since gotten another adult female that he is, well... "dating." No inserts from that couple yet, but he recently made another sperm web so I have my hopes.

Here is another picture of him outside. It is backlit and a little weird, but I like it.

Great outdoor shots, esp. the first one. Do you have a leash for him?

He was already that big. I knew where to find him a girlfriend and decided to take the risk (I got quite a deal on him). He was too beautiful to pass up.

Thanks for the compliment, and sure you can.

Oh, and as for the leash, he didn't need one...to my surprise. He was very calm for a bit and when he got fed up he let me know through some nice stridulation!

 Holy corona that is one huge, B E A U T I F U L T. blondi boy.

How did you get him to "pose" for those pictures? Did he thank you by sharing his hairs with you? :D

Truly stunning pictures, and I hope you and your brother get tons of little blondis soon. :)

Awesome to see some outdoors pictures! Handsome young man you have there. Perhaps I might try some outdoor pictures as well, but will have to wait until spring to do so.

Thanks everyone!

He has been really patient for photo sessions and its a good thing- he is one of my favorite subjects (especially since I know he won't be around for too much longer). However, he does not hesitate to share those hairs of his. For the time being (knock on wood) I have no reaction to them.

For the ruler shot, I put him in that glass bottomed tank and very slowly raised one side an inch or two. He spread out to avoid slipping and I slowly put the tank onto that measuring tape. Even then he looks like he is still not entirely at his full legspan.

VERY nice!

I'm so glad to finally see someone say "I have a 10+" T. blondi" and then back it up with pics!! :D

The first photo has got to be one of the best T. blondi photos I've seen (given the backdrop).

very impressive T and great shots. I agree, I like the one head on with the back lighting! I'm still afraid of putting my Ts outside for a photo shot, but apparantly all those who do get some magnificent pictures!! Kudos!
