my blondi finally moulted

thought id get a pic of the old skin to get an idea of the size,its bigger than i thought it would be

This is lucifer my female Blondi, She had just had a molt 2 weeks before this picture was taken and i wanted to make sure she was o.k cos she refused to come out of her cave which is not like her at all, she always comes out a couple of days after her molt. So i dismantled her cave for a closer look and she was just fine apart from pee'd off at me. But he soon calmed down.

One of my favorite species to say... Good name too. The abdomen does seem small, but it doesn't look shriveled, so I would assume it's a healthy T that just is smaller than others. Nice T. blondi by the way!

Hi Guys, Yeah she is a bit on the skinny side but i am feeding her everyday at the moment on large crix and she's already had her pinky, i might give her another tomorrow cos i'm not happy until she's plump again. She molted about 3 weeks ago now. And for 2 weeks after her molt she was not accepting food? it's only a week ago that she decided she was hungry. So she has some catching up to do but i will post another pic of her once she's herself again.

growing spiders are often skinny from frequent molts. I'm not going to fret, she does look very good and feisty as well.

Our T.blondi will go 2 to 3 weeks after a molt before he will eat. Typical behavior.

Hi guys, Your be glad to know that Lucifer has plumped up a lot since this pic. I checked on her this morning and she's almost her fat self again. Loads of large crix and a nice juicy pinky. hehe.
