Great photos, Jan. And great collection! Love the E. murinus. Love the shots of the Homoeomma. I'm going to have to try your suggestions with settings. I think yours may be a molt or two ahead of mine, also.
Thanks, I hope she'll calm down some after this last molt. Always have to be on my toes when dealing with her, hehe. She's not one of those that reacts once messed with, but already before. She senses my movement already when I step before the cage and she usually turns to face me, just waiting for me to make a mistake and lunge at me, lolLooks beautiful Jan! My girl matured to about the same size, and very badly needs a molt!!Hoping any time now, they do look so lovely when fresh.
Thank you, Joyce! The female is around 3.5" - 4" now maybe, the male though is around 4"-4.5" already. He was smaller than her when I got them and he sure as hell grows quicker (still slow overall)Great photos, Jan. And great collection! Love the E. murinus. Love the shots of the Homoeomma. There's only a few of them that I personally like, most are kinda "ehh" in my opinion. But thanks, MichaelAwesome shots of your P. cam Jan!![]()
Sure are!E. murinus are always a beauty!![]()
Yep, she's a sweetie so far!Your E. murinus is just the cutest! I need to get one my self!
It's the lighting, but yes - they are striped actuallyAmazing! i never noticed that A. purpurea are almost striped...or it's just the light? anyway great colors!
Thanks, Mark! Still trying to improve on the picturesHi storm76, love all your T collection/enclosures and very good pics.
Just because the couple I have are sacmates and that one is -so far- growing faster. I could be dead wrong as it's not reliable, but for now I'll just suspect it.Thanks Jan! I always thought they were more plain colored...
Glad to see that your fimbriatus grows wellcan i ask you why do suspect it to be a male?
Indeed, they did Chris! What's very interesting is the totally different temperament my triplets have. The sexed female is quite skittish, hides from light quickly and is overall secretive. The sexed male is very secretive and I rarely see him out at all while the last (still unsexed one due to a destroyed last molt) is actually very defensive and behaves like a Psalmo! That A. purpurea has came on nicely, always nice to see them growing up.![]()
She was my first together with my P. irminia "Phaedra" and I got her as an approx 2,5" specimen February 2012 - she's currently ~4,5" oldfantastic pics as usual, how old is the b. smithi?
