Very sweet sling set up. I also like the videos
Thanks, but if you're talking about the tank I pictured in the post above, that's a dwarf baboon species, won't get bigger ;)

Finally could snatch a pic of my A. geniculata juvie female (she's around 3" currently), the water droplets on her are her own fault, she was attacking the waterstream once again when I was refilling her dish :D:D:D:

I just received my 4 Euathlus sp. "fire" / "flame" / "red" spiderlings today and they are SO tiny - insane! I'll probably have to really feed them with springtails because I'd like to see them hunt already. They do already feed on pinheads I was told, but I'll just get springtails to be on the safe side, too.

Here's some pictures:

And here's the sellers review with footage of the tiny buggers:

Awesome!

Last but not least, here's how my T sideboard looks like currently:

Love those acrylic enclosures. Did it cost a fortune in shipping costs?
Kind of. I think shipping only was around $120 because I ordered 4 cases which equaled two packages. Plus $88 Item+Import Tax here, so like $200 only shipping+taxes...

A video of "Phaedra" grooming and showing the work of the H. villosella after 1 week:

Good stuff Jan, gotta love those Chileans. :)
Thank, Chris! The higher temps over here (30°C in my app even with fans...ugh!) make them molt more often currently, but since temperatures in nature vary, too, I don't think it's too bad for a short time-period. However, I'll probably have to think of getting a mobile air-conditioning thing if this keeps up...we'll see!

And talking about Chileans...had yet another molt last night: "Jewel", my suspect female Homoeomma sp. "blue" decided it was time to molt again. Would seem like she has developed a mild temper as well...:D

Your pulchripes is beautiful. I hope everything is going well!
Thanks! She's fasting currently and has one of her very mild moods lately. Wondering if she might go into premolt soon, we'll see.

Some pictures of the Homoeomma sp. "blue" that molted 2 days ago...stunningly beautiful blue already now at 3"...awesome!

"Jewel" in all her beauty!

(Note: These pictures have NOT been altered in any form except being downsized from the original! This is how the T really looks in sunlight!)

And a little vid on her:

Sidenote: If you know of blueish looking T's, shoot me a PM so I don't forget any of those known in the hobby in the vid I'm planning to make! (P. metallica, E. pulchrrimaklaasi, Homoeomma sp. "blue", Thrixopelma lagunas / cyaneolum, O. sp. "blue, Panay, P. brachyramosa, Avics I have on my list already...anything else, happy about a PM!)

WOW, gorgeous Jan! :D And I LOVE the 'Helloooo' photo!!! ;)
Thanks, Michael! That one is my favorite, too :D

Stunning H. sp blue!!!
Pseudohapalopus sp blue, Aphonopelma seemanni
Thanks! I'll forward the compliment to the T ;) Suggestion was noted and put into the vid.

Here's the link to the vid regarding "blue T's" (in case I made any mistakes there, please correct me as I don't want to hand out wrong information!)

But this post is about something else: One my 3 A. purpurea spiderlings molted into 7th instar today morning and behold - with ADULT coloration! SO awesome! The little one is still soft, but you can see the purple carapace on the pic already. I attached a little vid on the T, too! I seriously like these even more than A. versicolor...

And a bonus pic of "Kamala", the B. auratum that molted a week ago (she measures 4.75"-5" now...insane!)

...and one of "Kenna", the B. boehmei (molted July 25th)

Nice video Jan! It seems you missed a lot of blue tarantulas! ;) Do you ever make vids in German? :D

Thanks, Chad. I don't make german videos and frankly - I don't really want to even. Most german T vids are pretty much crap in my opinion, plus there aren't that many people watching them then. I'd like to reach more people and since english is -the- universal language...you get the picture ;). I know I missed quite some, but it was never meant to be a complete breakdown of all blue T's available in the hobby. Just giving some suggestions (hopefully without making TOO many mistakes), Jon also reminded me that I even forgot the O. diamantinensis although it's on my own wishlist - shame on me ;:)D.

No answer without a pic, hence...

Obviously, my "beast" Moriko, the P. cambridgei, thought it was time to shed her skin again...caught her in the act of doing so actually ;) She's probably gonna gain another 0.75" like last time...

Quickly getting a pic...

So, the P. cam pulled through all fine and sits already stretching some on her corkbark. Good chance to take a few pictures before she returns to being her evil self... :D
