Hopefully Christopher and I can match our P. metallica up, if his is male hopefully my larger one is female, or if his is female, hopefully one of mine is male!

It's funny because I have a sibling of the one that Christopher has and mine is still very small, maybe 1.5" or so. That's a very huge difference in growth rates. Although I'm convinced that he feeds his steroids lol!:D
That's interesting. No wonder all of his frogs look so great.:? :D

Im all about the roids over here!! and Laura you still have to come bisit :)
Lol yes I know! If those darn P. miranda ever get here I'll have to make a trip out there with the bugs I still have for you. The H. incei are a bit bigger now, heck they'll be full grown by the time I get them to you!:D

HAHA well mine may simply be an exceptional spider I dont know.. it has molted so much its rediculous.. more than any other spider I have.. I got it at 3/4" late October last year and now its 4" maybe a little more.
That is amazing; 9 months and over 3" of growth. Now Laura's only doubled in size (but I'm sure it is still awesome!)... That's one of the nice things about these boards... getting to compare more than what is going on in your own closet.

Have to wonder if it is the amount of food, temperature, sex or just the general vitality of the individual.

You guys will have to keep updating this thread with pics and growth rates of both since they were sac mates.

This lil grm just molted and I wanted to share some pictures with you. Do you think the new "cube" is too big for her?

She decided to make a run for it...

Can't wait for this gal to gain some size.

Some pics of my girl,

Close ups,

Indoor shots with fluorescent lighting. Though, even with bright lights, i had trouble bringing out the blue on this girl. She is very dark, like navy blue. Which i wasn't able to capture with the camera, the photo always come out over or underexposed.

No flash,

Outdoors,

Close up on the fangs ..

A short video of her beating heart,
