Those are pics of the Ts molt. The "tongue" thing is actually the first stomache chamber called the sucking stomache. When Ts molt, they shed the esophegus and the sucking stomache with everything external. This is one major reason they stop eating before a molt and wait to heal before they eat afterwords. Really nice pics BTW. :clap:

So as a new member to L.A.T.E (Lansing Area Tarantula Enthusiasts) i ballzed up and decided that it would be appropriate to handle bugmomma's P. Metallica, which as of that point had not been handled. I was slightly hesitant at first but this beauty was the most gentle and softest T i have handled in ever...Here are some pics, what do u think.
