Thanks man, and thanks for that faciatum! I've been meaning to get that one way before I got my boehmei. In fact, that first custom enclosure she lived in that I made with the two gallon was originally intended for a faciatum! So, right now, she's in a not-as-special, probably a long term temporary enclosure (it's one of those nice Canadian tire ones), while I debate on possibly making a new one (or kicking the current occupant out!). I'll get pics of her soon, but she's really skittish, and is always hidden away before I can (she is still a dirt mover!).

She's already halfway to china. She's dug like crazy and pops under whenever I walk past. I love pet holes!
I predict the GBBs should be good to go in a week or so.

Congrats... On your hot robustum!
I might say she looks familiar.... ;)

Peace!
Hahah, thanks. Yeah, when we were at the show last weekend, we were all joking about how all these spiders change hands in seemingly giant circles, so it'd be easy to track 'em, and you might even end up getting the same spider back again.

Anyway, Got a slew of pics I'm gonna dump.

Another of the M. robustum in her new enclosure, doing her threat thing.

P. irminia female.

G. pulchripes, on her back, ready to molt!

Lookit them gold knees!

The GBB slings should be poppin' any minute now.

This was taken yesterday. Compare it to the one above. This happened over the course of just a day!

It's been a while!

Let's start with some pics of the slings I haven't really posted yet.
Here are a few enjoying a drink

Here's one enjoying a mea- Oh what! Put him down!

"Here's to feeling good all the time!"

Eating something more acceptable.

And here's the last guy to molt. He was actually stuck at this point, but I managed to free him (the abdomen "skin" wouldn't tear to let him out)!

Here's some of the regulars.

P. sp. antinous finally out and about after her molt. She looks... pretty much the same, actually, only cleaner.

Old man still packing away the crickets.

A strapping young man, who's now in Ontario doing some fine work.

The P. lugardi, who has somehow molted sometime in the past couple of months without me knowing it!

G. pulchripes, because she looks neat.

The P. ultramarinus is out all the time now.

And molts!
The little Acanthogonatus sp. "black" molted, but has a deformed abdomen. It looks like a baby bump!
Otherwise, she has been acting pretty normal, so hopefully it'll go away with her next molt.

A little closer on that bump.

I also finally got around to fiddling with some of the past molts I've been meaning to pose and stuff.

Here's the G. pulchripes, who left an almost perfect molt.

N. chromatus fangs.

Shots of the naught bits!

N. chromatus, with uterus externus

and without

G. pulchripes

A. avicularia

And the little black Acanthogonatus sp. It's a little hard to make out though.

Thanks! They're a lot easier to photograph than when the perezmilesi were slings! Haha

Agreed. Love the lady part shots!
Thanks. I want to eventually get very clear shots of the spermathecae of all the females I keep.

Yup, they're from Dave's import a couple of years back. I doubt it's a parasite though. I'm pretty sure she'll survive. It's her next molt that I'm worries about!

So I managed to catch the N. chromatus dropping her bolus in the waterdish. All I have to do now is get video evidence of her pooping in there, and I can take her to court.

My N. chromatus is a serial offender when it comes to pooping in the water dish too. She's by far the worst one of mine when it comes to that.

Mine is the only one that does it nearly every time. It makes cleaning easy though, so it's not too bad.... until she has one of her annual let's-dump-substrate-in-the-water-dish-every-night fits.

Anyway, I hope all of my fellow Canucks had a great Thanksgiving!
Here are some festive pics of Thanksgiving dinner.

Cricket drumsticks

What looks like the equivalent of glazed ham

Rump roast?

And this one's made off with the head!

Nothing wasted, and a good feast was had by all!

Oh she's not that big yet! Maybe in a couple more molts. Thanks though!

Couple of pics,

X. imannis

And the A. versicolor

And a sad update. My L. violaceopes, who has been ill since August, has finally passed away.

Sad times, but I think I learned some things when I treated her. She's currently being prepped for display. Hopefully it turns out well.
