Excellent thread Hobo. I spent some time over the past few days reading all of the posts. Thanks for sharing!

On another note, I'm sorry for the loss of your L. violaceopes. She was a beautiful spider.

Really good pictures even better tarantula collection..
Thanks guys!
Not a whole lot going on with the spiders since it's cold, but here are more pics anyway.

GBB slings have started molting

Holothele sp. "Colombia" hanging out.

Close up of the one on the right. They're beautiful (and getting big)!

...and a crappy pic of the M. robustum. This thing is the holiest pet hole I have!

Welp, it's been a while, here are a few festivus molts!

C. fimbriatus molted earlier this month.

One of the Holothele sp. "Colombia" males hooked out!

Look at that embolus!

And just yesterday, the not-so-tiny B. emilia molted with some color finally!

The ornata molted out a while back, so no sac for me. Ah well.

C. fimbriatus grabbing and webbing up her second meal after her molt.

And a rare shot of my elusive OBT.

Yeah it was a little disappointing because she was showing yellow when I got her, but what can ya do. I'dd definitely try and pair her up with your guy thanks!
She's a great spider; I've already seen her out more times than my P. metallica has been all year, so that's a plus!

Anyway, just a few photos from feedign time.

Old male GBB, a year after his ultimate molt, still eating every week. What's strange is that if it isn't a cricket, he's almost catatonic.
I thought he was on his way out last month when he allowed me to pick him and pull out a bulb for a closer look. Put him back and chucked in a cricket, and he was like greased lightning.
Happy sexual maturity birthday, old man!

G. pulchripes

C. fasciatum. I can never get a good pic of this one anymore, now that she has a deep hide.

Speaking of deep hides, here's a shot from the mouth of the P. antinous'.

One of the four A. versicolors. This one's the biggest, and is about three weeks ahead of the others molt-wise.

A shot of the rosea, two years and counting since her last molt and still eating every feeding without fail.

The P. lugardi, wanting nothing to do with feeding time.

Drippin' venom angry!

Falling on her back angry!

And finally, the A. frankly-I'm-not-too-sure, doing some spelunking to nab a smart cricket (she did eventually get it out of there).

Man, I'm super jealous of those H. sp. "Colombia". Nice pics and sorry about the ornata, I was about to say she looked extremely gravid.

Well, I dunno what's up with her. She's back to not feeding again, after a few weeks of regular feeding. Definitely not in premolt. I think. She's still awesome though!

Yeah, I find they make the most interesting pictures. part of the reason I don't have many new ones, they don't do as much when it's winter season!

All very nice!
A-thank you.

I recently gave two MM to Abraxas, Hopefully he can get more down the line so they can make it stateside! And yeah, it's a bummer, but maybe it's a good thing since I have the perezmilesi and GBBs still around.

Great pics man. Thanks for giving us such an awesome chronicle of your GBB breeding efforts.
No probalo. I'm actually going to chronicle their egg -> adult via pictures. Just a couple more years to go before I have the full set!

P. ornata being big and awesome after her molt. Completely different temperment than the metallica. This one doesn't flinch when I open up her enclosure.
