This is an old coat. Her last molt was 8-1-04. A molt is around the corner, we can't wait. ;P

PS Although her fangs are long enough to raise the hair on the back of your neck, she's just a big ole sweetie. {D :)
How long did it take her to get to that size ?
And i thoud u have to keep them nice and moist ?

Ohhh about 4 years ! :D I'd say a sling a little more moisture wouldn't hurt. At this size dry is good. If her substrate is damp she'll climb the walls and stay there. A water dish to drink from does the job.
There's a pic of this in our gallery.

Just wait till she turns a deep, shiny, velvety black... pictures do NOT do this species justice!! Good choice... what others do you keep?

Welcome to the boards. :)

EDIT: Oooh, I just saw your post in the announcements forum... GRAMMOSTOLA IHERINGI!!!! I am so super jealous! What a gorgeous spider... rarely (if ever) available in the U.S. :(
I have 3 Grammostolas,

So today my pulchra decides to do something different, so i photographed it! If it's hard to tell he's got about 3 or 4 crickets in a ball and had laid down some silk to hold them together..very interesting process to watch, and i'd never seen him do it before!

My Brachypelma albopilosum do the same thing when I give her more than 1 cricket.

Looks like my A. seemani. Out of all my T's it's the only one that does this.

My Rose did it when I first got her. She only did 2 like that though. She must have been starving.

The best was when I put a Superworm in with her. The worm Burrowed down in the substrate and the Rose found her and dug it out.

Strangely enough my seemanni doesnt do this, it just drags the whole glob down into its burrow

No, this parahybana just likes to web a lot.
But it defenitly needed to lay some web down to hold the ball together...
Indeed very interesting to watch.
