My T. pruriens (Olive) is a mostly-adult female, she's somewhere between 4.5" and 5" DLS.

Surprise molt by Y diversepes. Wanted to rehouse her before she molted, but missed my chance. It’s gonna be a bit cramped in there for a couple weeks.

Wow tiger is gorgeous!!! Those collrs are striking
He's definitely a showstopper. I just wish he wasn't so skittish and I could get better lighting on him more often. Now to decide if we keep him as comfortable as possible for the remainder of his life or find himself a girlfriend. I think my son wants to keep him, but we'll see. I also think I saw little hooks on the Avic Avic so he might need to find a girlfriend soon too.

Our Hamorii molted today after less than two weeks of fasting! So far it seems all has gone well, it is resting now inside its lair! Exciting! :)

B. Emilia sling has been growing fast these past few months. Looking like it may be male, but it's a pretty small molt for my skill set. 20240729_115538.jpg

Last pic in her midden and yes she collects water dishes 😆 20240731_204956.jpg

Dutchess Sericopelma generala juvenile female been hauled up in a blocked burrow since she came but I was happy today to find her burrow open her out and in new clothes, losing those baby cuffs and looking hungry lol. Not the best pic but my lady herself. 20240801_070435.jpg

B. Auratum 3.5" + .. time for a new house now..

I don't know if it's just me, but this thing seems to double in size every molt. Between this one and the boehmei, idk who has the faster growth. Both seem to grow really fast for brachypelma.

A. Juruensis m2 about 3"

Well, I knew she was in premolt and that a rehouse might encourage her to get it done, but I didn't know she would molt the next day!

Here's what she looked like last night...
Was her previous enclosure quite a bit drier?

Was her previous enclosure quite a bit drier?
On the surface, yes, but in her burrow it was damp. The only reason I rehoused her after 3 years in that enclosure was because the last time I fed her, she dragged a big male Dubia roach all the way to the end of her burrow, killed it, then didn't eat it... I was sure she'd toss it, but instead she left it there to rot and it was getting stinky and inviting flies. I'm sure the fresh, moist sub helped, though. Her last molt was 2 years and 6 days ago.
