I’ve been getting so many molts lately but this one was the most exciting since it was her first with me and she’s an old lady.

Yesterday I caught Harlequin my Psalmopoeus victori chucking her moult. Been hidden a week but looks like it all went well , I haven't pulled her moult yet I chose to take pics instead, if I had disturbed her for the moult she would have disappeared into the tube and I already know she female so....pics 😆 20240803_164556.jpg

I got so excited about Harlequin I forgot to add Wini 😅 and it won't let me edit the other post so post 2.

Winifred my eresus walckenaeri orange ring moulted yesterday, a year after my other 3 matured out male... so has Winifred . And just to add insult to not being the female I thought he was he has decided to keep the old carapace on like a hat 😑 It doesn't appear to be attached but stuck under his abdomen hump , I did try to use a soft brush to knock it off but he wasn't happy about it so I have left him alone, hopefully he will just knock it off himself 🤷🏻‍♀️

Unfortunately he has no female waiting, ( anyone in the uk needs him let me know,) but even with his cap he is a handsome boy I always enjoy the colours on the eresus males.
Well done son you kinda smashed it....not quite but go you 😆

B. Klaasi sling molted today. It's been a hot summer, which has resulted in some nice growth for the baby brachypelmas. 20240804_183425.jpg

Suspected this last weekend, finally got the right lighting to confirm -- MF P. irminia "Irma" molted but is still very much sealed up in her fortress, so sadly no photo.

They are so stunning after a fresh molt. Mine molted back in June and I go stare at her with an oohhh, ahhhhh, every time she’s out. Sadly too dark where she hangs out to get a good picture of her.
