The new GBB baby just molted after about a month hanging out with me. Hopefully that lights the fire under my g. Rosea’s abdomen to finally put on some new skin. They molted for me 4 times last year, this year… just biding their time. 1D5DB029-5924-4625-BD48-1A25729EDDD3.jpeg

Tliltocatl albopilosus molted yesterday. Didn't want to disturb her more than just opening to fill up her water dish. IMG_4787.jpg

It seems like I can only get around to updating this thread once a week, so in the last 7 days we've had molts from the following (don't have pics of many this time, but here's what I've got):

0.0.2 Psalmopoeus langenbucheri, 1.25" DLS;

0.0.1 Augacephalus breyeri, 1.5" DLS;

0.0.1 Cyriocosmus sp. oronegro, 0.825" DLS;

0.0.2 Acanthogonatus pissi, 1" DLS;

0.1 Ornithoctoninae sp. Da Mi, 1.75" DLS:

1.0 Urupelma sp. Mishana, 4" DLS (no pic of the spider yet, but here's the exuvia - check out the size of those accessory organs!):

0.1 Neischnocolus sp. Panama, 2.25" DLS (I love this little T!):

0.0.1 Hapalotremus hananqheswa, 0.625" DLS;

1.0 Avicularia minatrix, 2" DLS (the pink blob):

0.1 Phormingochilus sp. Sabah blue, 3" DLS;

0.0.1 Ornithoctoninae sp. Ranong blue, 1.5" DLS (I hope this one is OK - it was molting in it's burrow when I picked up the enclosure to water it last night. I may have interrupted the process... :sad: );

1.0 Phormictopus sp. full green, 7" DLS (I was fully expecting him to mature this molt but he did not - he's going to be a monster MM. Look how green he is right as he coming out of the exuvia. Can't wait to see him after a week!):

Theraphosa blondi (9inch DLS) I got this female along with some other T blondi from a member on here. She had a massive cyst/protrusion on her abdomen and previous owner (and myself TBH), didn't think she would make it through next moult.

I kept her feeds down even though she was a ravenous feeder as didn't want to add any more pressure to the abnormality.

Well here she is 😍
The lump is still there but it is no longer bald (atm) and she seems to be fine. Looks like she will always have the lump but as ling as she can continue to eat, drink and thrive, then who cares about the odd lump or two right 😊

I can't find old pics of the lump for a comparison to share with you all but she looks a lot better.

My A. purpurea stealth molted under her tree a couple weeks ago -- world's worst post-molt photo:
1000014275.jpg

She is now definitely, absolutely in desperate need of a rehouse. 😱

Gonna have to make a decision real soon about that front-opening enclosure...

I like the center, front openers as they don’t disturb the top 3” or so at all.
