Guys....c'mon...

We're all friends here. As such, it's my duty -my responsibility- as your friend, & with love in my heart...to tell you both that this is completely understandable behaviour.
Have you no rulers? Have you no dry erase pens? Come on...I mean, COME ON...
It was in a job lot of 20 vivs I had to put holes in, I did start with a ruler n pen at the beginning but after a while you just want the job done unfortunately these dark ones were the last 4 in the lot and i may have been free hand by then 🤣, am not proud of the job but it is what it is..... and luckily Andrew doesn't care as much as you 😉 😆

Last night 2 of my Thrixopelma ockerti triplets moulted I could only find the moult for 1 , I have no idea what the other has done with theirs. I can see Orwen is fresh n twice the size but where the moult is 🤷🏻‍♀️
But I did get Orddu's moult there was a 1.5 inches on it and I am 90% certain Orddu is female. If anyone else can guess better then ty because I have no idea never having an adult before I only have pics to compare. Everything went well and we are already back to star spood on the side 😊 20231208_083824.jpg
Being a star spood , n don't worry I waited till she moved to get the moult. 20231208_101224(0).jpg
I think female but won't be 100% till she's over 2.5 inches, I have been tricked by small t's in the past .

It's the winter of mature males it seems! Third male to mature this week is Gunther (Tliltocatl albopilosus 'Nicaragua'). Just look at that fuzz! 😍 Now he just needs to harden up for a while, have some snacks and a bit of alone time, and then he can meet up with my girl!

Pro tip that a member here once shared with me. Use Cricut transfer tape. It's used in arts and crafts and is basically a clear sticker you cut to size with a 0.5" x 0.5" grid printed on it for quick and easy, perfect alignment and hole placement on different sides of the same enclosure and between different enclosures.

Oooo thank you for the tip 😊 I shall get some because tbh the fact the holes aren't in line annoys me everytime I look at the vivs 😆

Even with perfect lines I still miss with the drill :)
Get a drill press, it's what I did as I tend to do like 50+ ventilation holes per enclosure and I have a lot of enclosures lol. My wrists were always killing me like 3 enclosures in lol, now it's not an issue.

Forever known as the Mad Genius of ventilation now 😉, helping those with tiny holes n wonky lines achieve the perfect cross ventilation 😁😆.

Am only playing, thank you @l4nsky 😉

Two years in the making, and my first Psalmopoeus victori is finally mature! He's the fourth male to mature this week lol.

It's especially bittersweet seeing this guy moult for the final time, he's been a favourite of mine because of his calm but quirky attitude ever since I first got him as an L1/2i sling, and the main reason I splurged on an adult P. victori female back in May. Let's hope they like each other. Otherwise I do have at least two more subadult victori males (yup, that's my luck with Psalmopoeus haha) but it would be amazing getting some offspring from this particular one!

Both are in their lairs so no pics sadly, but my N. coloratovillosus and my T. ockerti molted today.
The coloratovillosus looks extremly stunning. Now the hair on her legs is red ... its just wonderful.

0.0.1 Omothymus sp. Sumatran tiger molted a few hours ago. Still in it's burrow, so no decent pic yet.

Also, 0.0.1 Theraphosinae sp. dorado (1 of 3) molted. It should be around 0.75" DLS now.

Also just found that my 0.0.1 Acentropelma sp. Chiapas molted. It should be around 1.25" DLS now.

tried sexing, but my camera sucks and wayyy too small to see with my magnifying glass to know for certain, but I think he’s male.

better picture now that he has left his web house. Couldn’t sex it because the abdomen was too twisted and small to spread apart. Maybe this one!

Little GBB molted a couple days ago

And the pumpkin patch molted overnight last night 20231214_104403.jpg
Also recently got a molt from my male P. Cancerides Lucifer, he'd been in premolt quite some time, still waiting on a molt from his sister Mazikeen. He's still in his burrow but this is the most intact molt I've ever gotten from him and confirms he is indeed definitely male, as suspected. 20231211_154939.jpg

Versicolor almost doubled in size, hard to see behind the webbing.

Davus sp. Panama dug a short hole opposite of its burrow just to molt in. Oddly, the drier side is where it chose to molt, the damp side is the burrow.

0.0.1 Phormingochilus sp. Sabah Blue (Kappa) molted today. I didn't want to pick up the vial for a better shot because it looks pretty fresh, but it seems like some blue is finally appearing!

I'll get a good pic soon, this one is next on the list for a rehousing.

I had two Ts molt overnight. My Aphonopelma sp. Acapulco, which is now over the inch mark! 20231216_093152.jpg
Pseudhapalopus sp. Blue - Mouse - also made it past the inch mark! I'm hoping they'll start showing that gorgeous blue and silver in the next few molts. 20231216_093332.jpg
