Another little bitty one molted today...

0.0.1 Cyriocosmus leetzi, 0.75" DLS. Those white legs are awesome:

Molts today from one each of my Phormingochilus everetti slings, Orphnaceus sp. "Quezon Blue" slings, and Pamphobeteus cf. antinous/"Big Black" juveniles. Also found a recent "stealth molt" from one of my Hmac slings.

My super slow growing, extra small C. Versicolor just had a molt, and I keep thinking I'm seeing teeny little emboli on his little palps. Waiting for him to emerge from the web tunnel to really get a good peek, but my gut says I've got myself a 2.5" mature male. 🫣 Oh well. I guess I'll have my answer when he decides to come out. 20231130_183614.jpg
Suspicious pink blob as proof.

Do his legs look long and gangly?

I had one of those, just recently! He got his adult coloring at the same time. I have another male that hooked out who is huge, and he won't come out to play 🤷

One of my C versicolor gave a surprise molt overnight. Wasn't overly fat and only ate maybe 2 crickets between this molt and the last. Both of mine have not been great eaters... hopefully that changes.

The sac mate to the versi that molted is on the left. The one that just molted put on some thickness. Was curious to see how they grew differently from each other.

I had a trio from the same source at the same time, most likely sacmates, with one random slow grower. Pic is him and his sister after 14 months with me, this was taken about a year ago: 20221015_194316.jpg He's the one that just recently molted out mature, and maxed out around 3", actually slightly bigger than I though he was. I pulled the molt and it's 2.75". His brother matured out last year and was a LOT bigger. So growth rates can definitely vary.

That's so interesting! Really cool to have a visual, thanks for posting that!
My 2, they molted within hours of each other last time. Since I really wasn't expecting a molt from either, I wonder if/ when the other one will molt next.
