A genic making some moves. I hope... it's been on it's back like this for at least an hour. 🥴

Thank you!
It seems to be in the clear. One day I hope to not be such a nervous T mom. Goodness...

Looks like some looong legs. Can't wait to see it unfolded.

I just got back from a trip to Oregon and had a few surprises. Had a H. Pulchripes sling molt, cyriopagopus sp hati hati, p Cambridgei, chromatopelma cyanepubescens, and the one I’ve been most dearly waiting for….my G. Pulchra Lenore just molt. Confirmed female too! 🥹 IMG_3785.jpeg

Pamphobeteus sp machala sling gave me a nice molt today. Always amazed how much size it puts on every molt. 20230903_195705.jpg 20230903_195848.jpg

After coming in the post with mites and a split on the base of the abdomen Amaterasu has moulted 🥰 I was so worried that after the state she (🤞) was in when she came that she wouldn't make it to a moult, but she's done it 😊 I couldn't be prouder of her . I can't get the moult yet as she's still on it so I can't confirm gender or get dls but idc I am just happy she made it.
Go Amaterasu, you make your mummy so so proud 🥰

Not the best pic but I didn't want to disturb too much.

“Sparticus, I look a mess! Couldn’t you give me a minute to at least sort my legs out? Blackmail pics.. 🙄
Ok fine, I got you another after some time to put the legs in order, and then put it with the premolt pic so you can see how slim and lovely she is now. A "before" and "after" molting collage. 20230904_093753.jpg
Still too embarrassed to look at the camera, though. 😅

Two much-anticipated molts today: my Tapiauchenius rasti sling becoming a juvenile, and even better, one of my Omothymus schioedtei trio molting and getting a huge size jump (other two are in heavy premolt).

The biggest shocker, though, was having one of my Pelinobius muticus slings molt for the third time in my care, and this time, it's a significant size jump. The other sling is ready to go any day now, too. I've found my two P. muticus to be some of my most entertaining Ts (insane feeding responses, actually will charge out their burrows when I open the cage) in spite of being the most heavily fossorial Ts in my care.

2 molts this evening...

0.0.1 Theraphosidae sp. Kolumbia sling, probably just cracked the 1/2" mark:

0.0.1 Eucratoscelus pachypus - this was the last of my foursome to molt, so I've had successful molts by the entire group now!

Molt from a Cyriopagopus robustus "Negeri Sembilan" sling, an Ornithoctoninae sp. "Hati Hati" sling, and one of my Harpactira namaquensis sling trio (one left to go for this molt cycle). Also confirmed that my juvenile Phormingochilus arboricola female (really hoping that is exactly what she is, given she might be another victim of whatever mixup had happened at the local dealer's) had molted yesterday (she's been in premolt for a while) and gotten seriously large, and that one of my Bach Ma slings had molted unseen, leaving me with one sling left to go for this molt cycle.

Today is a good day, its a fresh genic pic day. It is likely at that size, she knew something wasn't right with last moult and has moulted quickly again to correct it. Or could have been triggered by weather for breeding purposes if mature specimen. Must have been a nice surprise tho 😊
Nice surprise indeed! I read at this size molting would take longer. Maybe the next molt will be even longer now 🤷🏻‍♂️ or maybe our weather has something to do with it, it’s very humid where I am at 🥵☀
