P. irminia in new clothes, waiting for it to chuck the molt so I can check it for girly parts!

P. metallica and H. pulchripes also molted, but they're too small to sex yet. Blues are coming in though from what i can see :)

So beautiful,I'm still waiting mine to look like that, can't wait
They're stunning, I'm excited for you! P. irminia was my first tarantula jaw drop moment so I hear you :) I can't wait to figure out if it's male or female, my daughter has one as well. We don't plan on breeding but the girls get style points so it would be nice to have one. This one has been a joy to keep so hopefully it has many more years!

Two more molts tonight:

0.0.1 Cyriocosmus leetzi, should be right around 1" DLS:

0.1 Avicularia juruensis, about 3" DLS. Would have been a cool pic if she hadn't molted right behind her poop on the window...

Came back from a 4-day vacation to find a LOT of molts had happened:
- My A. geniculata juvenile
- My GBB sling
- Both of my Pamphobeteus cf. antinous/"Peruvian Big Black" (not the actual antinous but an undescribed species)
- Another of my Omothymus violaceopes slings
- My Phormingochilus arboricola sling (since the other P. arboricola in my collection, a juvenile, has been confirmed female I plan to either sell this one off, or try for a breeding attempt if it turns out this one is male)
- One of my three Poecilotheria ornata juveniles....and is def a male from the carapace sexual dimorphism. At this rate I'm going to need to get more of these to ensure I get a female (they're among my absolute favorites in the collection)

Edit: Forgot to mention that one of my subadult Ornithoctoninae sp. "Phan Cay Blue" has molted (the other one had molted a couple weeks earlier, odd because usually it's the other way around with these sacmates) and the larger of my Lampropelma nigerrimum slings has molted into a juvenile as well.

0.0.1 Harpactira cafreriana molted this morning, will be close to 2" DLS. This is one of my favorite T's - I think they're gorgeous and it's disposition is very chill.

Also, 1.0 Phormictopus sp. full green has a molt mat down after being in heavy premolt for several weeks. He's going to be huge and may hook out. 🪝

0.1 Caribena versicolor female molted today. She'll be over 4.5" DLS. Not able to get a good photo, but here's proof, lol:

My D. diamantinensis juvenile moulted and I finally got to confirm it is a male and I couldn't be happier!

Long story short: I agreed to a 50/50 with my female back in April but ended up getting duped. Luckily no money was exchanged, all it did was leave me with a bad taste in my mouth and a note not to do any future deals with this keeper again. I had gotten a sling just a couple months prior and kept my fingers crossed it would turn out male... and here we are!

And not to be that person, but the keeper who snubbed me? Never got a sac. Ah... karma.
