What could you possibly be worried about??? That's how they grow...and pre-molt can last months...you shouldn't be concerned in the least.

May be stuck??? How? It is just in pre-molt and not molting.

As @EulersK said, vets are useless...things that go wrong, just go wrong, there's nothing one can do at a vet that you can't do at home. 99.99% of vets are not trained in the least in tarantula care. One of our users here's mom is one of those very few with a little training, but even then, there's no reason to be spending $ at a vet with a t.
I'm so sorry!

I've been called a troll twice and it's kinda upsetting me. I'm just naive and inexperienced.
Yes, well, passing laughably wrong information as facts isn't helping your case. We get a lot of trolls around this forum, as you can tell.

Still I dislike how some experienced keepers are being rude. They were in my position.
Rude? People have been nothing but helpful, come on now. If you're reading responses with an attitude in your head, then there's not much we can do about that. People (myself included) only got snippy when you offered "advice" that could legitimately harm a tarantula or put the keeper through undue stress.

Almost everyone on these boards is no-nonsense. A question is asked, we answer it without beating around the bush. People often mistake that for rudeness, apparently.

You're fine. Probably the best help I've had. Just a few people calling me a troll.
Just laugh that off...it was probably meant to be funny anyhow. Only an actual troll should be worried about being called out as a troll. If you're not, just laugh at their mistake and keep asking the questions you need to ask.

Thank you. I may as well leave that guy.
Our advice as a collective group of hobbyists would be to stick around and learn as much as you can from these boards there's literally 10000 years experience between the keepers on here
.
There's a lot of great keepers on here including the likes of @cold blood @EulersK @viper69 @Chris LXXIX @VanessaS @KezyGLA etc there's too many to list.
The thing is someone will be here 24/7 to give you very useful advice and information, But the thing is because there's a screen between the person asking the question and the person answering you can't see facial expressions and hear the tone of the voice so sometimes things can seem harsh, critical or just rude but 90% of the time there's nothing meant in any of it.

We are just trying to pass our knowledge to the next generation of keepers which you are set to become then in time you'll do the same one day

People often mistake that for rudeness,
The below is not directed to anyone in particular in this thread, just an observation over time.

I could not agree more. As a long time poster here I have been accused of several negative things, cursed at for no reason, being called rude is the nicest of the terms used lately.

Too many people expect to be coddled, told a bedtime story, and provided milk and cookies with their answers.

They infer things that don't even exist in the writing before their eyeballs. And, when asked to provide the specific information where I supposedly said something, that question is of course ignored as people go on w/their meaningless diatribe to something else to prove more wrong was done, reminiscent of a crotchety old person with Alzheimer's Disease.

The above is NOT unique to me, it's been said about many others before me as well. I'm no victim that's for sure, and I don't care what people think either. This is merely my observation of things.

What many people fail to realize/comprehend, or erroneously ignore do to their own stupidity, is everyone has a life outside of their computer monitor. It's only the people that don't who start carrying on w/their useless drivel.

I'm sure it would be nice to read a fairy-tale or a Dr. Seuss-like story with an answer, but no one has time for that.

Answers are to the point, and move on. Personally, I don't remember some people's SNs when I reply, only the question, especially if a person is new to the this forum.

In short, before one takes something personally, stop and read the text, not the hidden, "secret" tone one thinks is behind the letters on the screen.
