I also keep this species. I keep one 8" male and one 9-10" female. When the male matures I will try to breed them.

Male T apophysis never becomes dark brown in color.. more a rusty red kind of color.

Fresh bulbs

Here's my male Goliath, before and after maturing. This is my first one of two, and unfortunately, that one is also a male, but not mature. Oh well, someday I'll have a female....

impressive pictures you got there evrybody...i have a blondi shes in a premolut but its taking to long i think to moult...hopefully evrything will go right...she already prepered the web were to moult...when she moult surly evrybody will know...hehe

I've never been a huge fan of goliaths but they're just too cute and fluffy when they're young.

Are you sure that's a T. apophysis? That looks like a pampho to me.

Not that I'm an expert, I've just never seen a Tharaphosa with coloring that striking.

yes it is it has pink feet that is juvie coloring

I have one adult female and one sub-adult male apophysis so Im hopefully gonna post my own thread about this some day! :D
