Technically yes. It gets replenished with each molt. How long it stays is still a mystery;) .

this girl arrived "bald"

there was a good amount of blondi fuzz in her container from being shipped across the state, but i'm sure she wasn't sporting a full rump of hairs before being shipped either. they love throwing those things.

fortunately, most of my t's maintain furry rumps because i don't move them a lot or handle them. :)

can't wait to see how she looks after her next molt (which is obviously far-off)

Nice Blondi! Maybe she will molt soon for you and then she will have a nice new coat.

LOL! This girl LOVES her water dish, I found out just how much today. She hangs around it, hovers over it, hugs it, and today I found her swimming!{D Notice how much of her bum is UNDER the water, there is a protective layer of air clinging to her body. (For newbies, Ts have a waxy substance coating that protects them from the water.)

(Yes, her enclosure is WAY humid, so she's not dehydrated. She really just loves her dish!)

i wonder what would happen if you gave her a REALLY big water dish?

maybe you could have a pracking MASSIVE fishing spider!

that would be unbelievably cool to watch!

Yeah, a bit bigger dish and a goldfish would be awesome to watch! All of my T's hate their water dish.

Bubbles? She's a lady, she doesn't fart!{D ;)

She actually spent about 6 hours in there, then just climbed out like she was done soaking. I have seen other species straddling their water dishes, but have NEVER seen one take a good long soak. I'm going to get beat up big time by the scientific-minded for this but; YES, THEY DO HAVE PERSONALITIES!!!(;P)

Alright Terri, I'm a little confused. The advice that is frequently given out here when misting for example is "beware and not mist around the abdomin since that's where the book lungs are". Here's your girl, booklungs clearly submerged...for six hours!!!!! Am I missing something?

Some of my Ts enjoy to be next to the water, sometimes they also have a bath but been there for 6 hours is a lot of time.

I was just wondering... Is she in premolt period?
