Blondi Moult

She didn't have a bald spot or go dark or red she did have dark hair on her bum, You can see it on the cast skin, She just went off her food for about 8 weeks or so, When she went into premoult I raised the humidity to mid 70's (While on her back I raised it to 80% I think this helps keep the old skin a little more supple, I have a video of the whole moult right past flipping back right side up

Just managed to get a rough measurement, she is at least 7inches now

Its good to hear it wasn't wild bread ;P it might have a gamey taste to it

Its amazing how the blondi's color changes after the molt! Nice spider!

Looks just like mine did pre-moult and about the same size as well, The little fellow is a total eating machine now

im in birmingham, i got it from my local pet store called birmingham reptiles and pets. i get them all from there

Only 1"? Im assuming you are measuring its body length then? Most of the time they are measured from leg I to opposite leg IV. At that size, if not from the last molt, at least from this next molt if you can untangle it, you should be able to sex it.

Managed to get a couple of decent pictures of my Blondi’s (well decent for me) post moult, The little boy is eating very well and in the picture below destroyed a pinkie 24 hours before (I let him have one every couple of weeks) left little more than a cricket bolus :O

And the big girl, Notice the slight blue sheen on the underside of her legs? She moulted 1 ½ weeks ago, her fangs are still not completely black as of yet, and she’s not eating. She has put on a serious amount of size. That Cork Bark has a 8" diameter opening

ok then maybe i was wrong on the measurements. just done it again and i can now confirm that it was'nt 1" it is actually 2" :? dunnio how that worked out????

how big is yours at tho moment?

Just put some pics in this section before and after, I think unless you have really small hands he is more like 2.5inch from tip of leg to tip of leg, He has what looks like a 1 inch body lengh. My little boy has about a 3 inch leg to leg span now
