Adorable! Lovely shots of the rest too, especially the P. cambridgei. Great you managed to get a few shots in; scary stuff.
Love your collection of Ts, grate enclosures and brilliant pics.
Beautiful pictures of some beautiful T's! Thanks!
Thanks, people. Much appreciated ;)

Psalmopoeus langenbucheri, 0.75" spiderling, 3rd instar - eats like a pig!

Very fast, shy and nervous. He vanished into his hideout on the side of the corkbark right after I took this second pic, lol :D

A. azuraklaasi, "Nila", 4.25" female - eating a superworm she grabbed off the tongs ;) (with the lamp at the side, her colors are actually really vivid on this pic...go get one, Michael!)

B. boehmei, "Kenna", eating the first roach-nymph ;)

Current T-shelf ;)

I really need to get me an A. Purpurea... I think I might like those more than the versi... or maybe I should get both...

Nice collection you got there. Looks manageable but give it another year. lol I find that arboreals can be a bit of a logistical problem when you get a lot especially when you have a lot of adults enclosures and the space you need for them. Thanks for sharing.

Little P. subfusca showed up ;)

Lol,, I love how your shelf heights is growing with time :)
LOL! Yeah, I need to be careful - starting to run out of space. However, the two GBB males will be sent off to a breeder once they mature out (probably some time next year, I guess), that'll lower of the "towers" ;)

I'd recommend these to anyone loving Avic / colorful T's. They look absolutely stunning and are a rewarding species to keep! :D

Thanks so much, Michael! Means a lot coming from you! :D - as for enclosures I think mine are very basic and there are lots that have way better ones on here. I'm not too good on decorating sadly :alien:

Oh, there aren't many species left I want to add. No danger into running into -serious- trouble with that hence. Also - I love the "tree-ninjas":ninja:

So, little P. subfusca (lowland form) was out today evening and I snatched these few shots quickly. Little T was very calm, not moving an inch upon me removing the lid! I'd be stoked if this one would turn out to be another extremely calm one once it gets bigger. I love oddballs ;)

Size around ~2.5" after the last molt a week ago...didn't grow too much, but looks very nice!

Very nice contrasts already...really looking forward to the adult coloration (here's hope for a female...) :D

Beautiful shots and wonderful little T! :D Yeah, in general subfuscas tend to be one of the very calmest poecis ... in general, as I said! ;)

Yeah, that's what I said, too, Jan. LOL Then Chad and Michael got to me...
You do have a very nice collection.

Great pics of the E. pulcherimaklaasi! I love their wooly carapaces.

This one is certainly extremely shy and photosensitive now after the last molt...geez. But I can see the little one at night roaming around in its sling-container...:D

Thanks for the kind words, Joyce! I just love E. pulcherrimaklaasis (or whatever they are now for real!) - they look stunningly beautiful! As a sidenote, so far, I've been really keeping to those species that I really wanted to have. I seriously don't see my collection growing "out of hand" in the future :D At some point, it becomes more work than hobby and that's the point I want to avoid.

Thanks, man! The acrylic enclosures are from Adam Hundt (www.tarantulacages.com), but Jamie's does that kind, too. The glass one's are regularly bought over here ;).

A. geniculata in heavy premolt (kinda hard to see due to the flash, but her behind is complete black :D)
P1020671.JPG

P. irminia "Firali" female molted - size of molt 4" and after being able to get a first look on her, I'm guessing she's gonna be around the 4.75"+ now. Raised this one from a sling ;)

Totally overlooked this: Thanks, bro! Appreciated ;)

How big was she when you got it? Raised her from a tiny sling?
Bought her when she was around 2.5"

My Homoeomma sp. "blue" male molted last night (not ultimate obviously as I can't see hooks so far) and went from ~3.5" to 4.5" - they take their time between molt, but once they molt they gain CONSIDERABLE size!

On his web-hammock he used to molt...
P1020673.JPG

Better picture after him moving some... (this guy is really skittish and quite fast, too!)

No news on the A. geniculata SA female so far, she's still in premolt ;)

Calendar from Michael & Chad arrived ;)

Ordered a couple of these (one for me, the other as a birthday gift to the daughter of a friend of mine) and obviously for Europe, these are printed in France (though the order goes through LULU in the US still).

Either way: Picture quality is very good, great detail and colors. The only drawback is that I expected them to be a little bigger ;)

Thanks for putting this one together, guys!

There should be a delivery with a triplet of new additions later today, too ;) Will update on that...

0.0.3 Euathlus sp. "blue" (pulcherrimaklaasi)

SO cute and tiny! Got these from Spiderfactory-WSF.com! Thanks again, Katrin!
P1020692.JPG

Also rehoused "Firali", my 2nd P. irminia female that molted into an approx. +4.5" specimen. Funny as it is - she was totally calm like my other one (what the...?) and went with no problems at all into her bigger enclosure.

Only shots I was able to get, as she scurried instantly into hiding...
P1020688.JPG

P1020689.JPG

And the proof this Homoeomma sp. "blue" is a confirmed male...
