Hey, pre-congrats from me too! hehe!
I sent off flyers to everyone who requested them today. They should arrive tomorrow or Thursday.
Can't wait to see you all again. Should be lots of fun!

Sfbats Meeting

Rachel,
I received the flyers and I have to say that they are awesome
Anyone that is helping or would like to help, please respond with what you are doing or would like to do. You can PM' John , Rachel or myself.
John ,where are we at with RsVp's and who is doing what task? I'll volunteer to help with the clean-up. Do we have a speaker or somebody to do a presentation/s. We can do a Pizza lunch like last time and everyone can bring a food item,snack,ice,cookies or drinks to go with it.I'll take this part on. So PM me for your food item that you are bringing to the meeting so I can co-ordinate it.
We also need some items for the FREE Raffle. I have a few things to bring for that.

Thanks. I'm glad you like the flyers. I've been distributing them around town and dropped a few off in SF when I was there on Monday.
Pizza lunch sounds good. I'll pm you with the goodies I'll be bringing. Will definitely have things for the raffle too.
Are the insectgeeks guys coming again? That was a nice presentation last time.

SFBATS Meeting

Hey All,
We are less than a week away and I am so excited about getting together this Saturday in Concord.
We need some help in early set-up and help in clean up. We want to make sure we leave it better that we found it.
We need name tags,Raffle prizes,sodas, fruit platter and some cookies or dessert. PM me with what food/drink item that you can bring to share. I am co-ordinating that and clean-up.

Remember no alchohol or bad attitudes are allowed in our meetings. We want to keep this a family friendly event for ALL ages of invert. enthusiasts.

Please to bring your inverts to trade or sell and bring a friend or two with you .

Positive review

We had a great meeting last Saturday. Robert of Insectgeeks.com did a wonderful and informative talk on about 10 different roaches that he is documenting for his new book. Thank you for sponsoring us again.
We had a pretty good turn out and lots of great food. Uglykid2 brought his new Megaphobema mesomelas-female that he bought at the ATS conference a couple of weeks ago..I want one of those T's, they are very nice looking.
Ken & Georgi were unable to make it because their daughter decided to be born that morning. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. KenTheBuyGuy on the birth of your daughter.
We are putting together plans for our October meeting. Date of meeting has not been set as of yet. So,if you want to add some new ideas to the SFBATS meeting,please send them along.

I think either the first or second Saturday of Oct. would be good for our Fall meeting. We would need to know soon so the Vets Hall can be booked .

October ( To be named ) Meeting

The meeting date will be on October 11th from 11-4.

This will be our last big one until the January meeting. Let's make this one HUGE and invite alot of people to share in our fun. The Vet's hall in Concord is probably where we are going to have it at, but it has not officially been reserved as of today.

Just a couple of weeks to go for our Fall Fang Festival(10/11/2008). We are looking forward to seeing some new faces and a whole lot of familiar ones.

If it's still goin I'm up for whichever the June or July meeting. I live in Northern CA and got family in Pacifica (Bay area). I've also got a bunch of slings in need of not-being-mine-anymore. Plus I'm always adding T's to my collection and need to start interacting with T collectors outside my computer. As long as I get reminded somehow a couple weeks before-hand I would definitely make it to this meeting. As for the October meeting, I ran into this post a bit too late Keep me posted people!
