Damn that is one beautiful P. murinus. I am also going to have to say that that is RCF (seeing how i have 13 of them!). Enjoy it! It is my favorite species :)!

hi does anybody know if the females aperture looking open is a sure sign of a mating iam asking this because i introduced a male that matured about a month and a half ago but did not actually see him make a sperm web to a females cage i think he was a little shaken up after i wangled him out of his cage and into hers he didn,t really do anything but the female started to drum they were still quite a distance apart after a while i was starting to wounder if he had actually even made a sperm web i decided to turn the lights out but then after a while i fell asleep i woke up about an hour and a half latter and looked into the cage with a flashlight and the female was against the side and her genital apterture was very open looking is this caused by the male bending her backwards and inserting his palps is there any chance they would go through this process even if the male had not loaded his guns thanks chris...

Here is a picture of her after this last molt.

are these pictures directly after her last molt? if they are how did you get her abdomen so fat so quickly? i thought it would be like half the size???

Not my T or my thread, but I don't think that is directly after a molt. I think its a couple of days to actually a couple weeks after its molt.

So, there's a small local petshop nearby......just about the only thing that ISN'T a petco.

This petshop happened to have a P. murinus female that came gravid from the wholesaler and laid a sac. The famale isn't there anymore....BUT.....
A while back, some of you might remember that I purchased some P. murinus slings, and a few P. imperator 3I scorplings.

I've been going back periodically to get more P. murinus for trades and stuff on our hike/hunts.....

Today I went for crickets, and saw that there were about 7 slings left.....and I just had to buy them.
Otherwise, no one will buy them, and they will surely die. No non-hobbyist wants slings!

So, I threw in some cut up cricket, and took this picture of one of them.....isn't it a cutie?!

Yup, I agree. How long ago was that pic taken? It seems like it was or is in premolt.

Thank you both, I'm very proud of him/her. Actually, it hasn't molted this was probably...2 or 3 months ago.
