I have 2 of this species. I think they look best how they're best known... Like this!

Wow! That's one awesome spider! Mine actually has a very good temperment and has never reared up. Kind of a disappointment as I love the threat displays! But oh well. A beauty none the less. :)

I just spent the better part of 2 hours coaxing 9 Pterinochilus murinus slings into their vials without letting them have run of the house.

I put the lid back on the tupperware and sat back to think of a solution for accomplishing this without losses.

I came up with the box idea taken from a bead or sand blasting cabinet.

I taped all inside ares over with whit copy paper and made no way out. I used clear wrap for the top so that I can see through. Made some hand holes to fit my forearms for sealing and put the small lamp above the box and went to town sperating them.

It took me 30 minutes to get all of them into vials with no worries of escapes.

I seperated 92 of the little devils!

I will be using and improvising my idea and maybe making a clear lexan or plexi version for this in the near future. Maybe with florescent lighting built in, gloves permantly installed so you can slide into them and keep the unit sealed as well and using a hinged lid.

Here's the pics:
