Nice T. I have two 1/2" slings, but they are too small to get a decent picture.

I got mine as little slings. Now they are both at least 2.5 inches. I quite like this species.

Pics of my new Pterinochilus murinus. He/she settled in quick and was ready for a fight immediately....lol. So I gave him/her a cricket and it seemed to calm things down :)

I also enjoyed the upside down shot :) Do you have additional photos of the abdomen that you could post? In the first picture, it could be just the angle, but it looks as though there may be a cyst on the left side.

Thats what I thought. Definitly looks like a cyst.

It is definitely an abnormal growth on it's side. It arrived that way from my supplier. I was hoping a good home and a couple of molts and he'd heal up, but I could be wrong.

This is the only other picture I have of it at the moment, any info or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Great shots! I hope the cyst is nothing too serious :)

The best advice I can give is to feed sparingly until the next molt. I would also try not to disturb him/her too much. Sometimes they will successfully molt out of this in 1-2 molts, but it can be rough going. I wish you the best of luck, and I hope you said something to the supplier about this. I don't think that I've ever seen an obt with a cyst.

Up to this point I had never received anything other than top notch animals from my wholesaler, it figures that when I get something for my personal collection that it would have an issue. lol He did offer to send a replacement no charge on our next order, and was truly embarrassed that someone sent it out that way.

Thanks for all the info.
