The P. ornata "blue-form" is also known from before, also called P. ornata "light-form".. its a locality wich i dont remember the name of..
They eaven have diffrent patern on the femur of leg IV

Poecilotheria sp. "tigris"

4th instar Poecilotheria sp. "tigris" spiderling coming up on a molt.

Nope she is normal. But they do get a bit bigger. 25 cm should be possible. Anyway she is not that old and she will get a bit more bodymass when she gets older. Perhaps I used the wrong words... she is big in legspan, but her bodymass is small. :wall:

Poecilotheria miranda - Eggsack

*P. miranda 2006 - 6/5 - laying the eggsack. 11/6 opened the eggsack,
69 st nymphs (the first succesful breeding produced in Sweden)


The tank that the female lives in.


She made up lots of web at her corkbark burrow.

All done, the eggack in the incubator.
