Yep, "skippy" is doing well in her new home, she doesn't have to worry about emps or anything else. She's my first H. Lividum, I was thinking that they burrow a lot. Hopefully she'll wait a while before she does so I can monitor her leg situation.

unfortunately, my beloved cobalt turned out to be a male. but even if "she" isnt blue anymore, "she"'s still gorgeous. wouldnt you agree?

That is an amazing transformation!
It is a shame that it is male, but I would still be happy to have one in my collection even if it is going to be for a short while.

Doesnt look like a Cobalt to me,, i may be wrong though, im no expert by any means.

as has been discussed many times, mature male cobalts lose their blue coloration, and dawn the black and striped legs.

what do u think???
i got this on sub-adult.but after moulted .he became to a mature male!!!
and also have a nice blue in the coloration.
enjoy it {D {D

Here it is, i recieved it today, it was simply fantastic. I don't know the sex yet but it has + or - 4.5". Any idea if it might become a female or a male ?

all the ladys are on the sub-adult period.
and the biggest H.lividum in Beijing only 10~11cm.cant mate with him
thats too bad.
who know the number of H.lividum's egg one times???
