My first Haplopelma

This is my first real devil. I also have P. murinus, C. crawshayi and T. blondi, but believe me, this is worst of 'em all!

Not really a Haplopelma, but here are some pictures of the spiders sold as "Haplopelma robustum" "Lampropelma violaceopes" or "Malaysian Blue Femur"
Hey Leon, here is mine

Before anyone mentions it . i dont condone handling any spiders but i do from time to time. i certainly wouldnt advise people to try handling species known to have volatile personalities such as this.

Here he is.

just curious why this species is so expensive here? at botar's, singapor blues cost more than P metallicas! Is it high demand? tough exportation? outrageous behavior? extreme beauty? i have not really seen many pics, so i know little of their appearence.
The seem to be nice T's but i was just curious how they got to be so much?

The blue is subtle at times... you can see it nicely in the second pic.

I tried to coax mine out today for a few pics, no go.

Not being rude either but why do u insist on trying to question me? I also keep Cyriopagopus schoiedti and they look nothing alike.

What makes you so sure this isnt Cyriopagopus sp "Blue"? Do u keep that species?
