Unidentified Haplopelma species, freshly moulted:

What's annoying is that it shredded every part of the exuvia to pieces and tightly packed it into the substrate. Thanks a bunch!

Is it the same as this one (the one you bought at the BTS) premolt.

That's the one :)

My guess is still a big stocky "Vietnam" but it's just a guess.

Remember the "longipedum" that were being sold as "aureopilosum?
Now freesh moulted, Volker has confirmed the ID for me as sp."longipedum" and my juves from Alvin are growing nicely, along with the unidentified dwarf spiderlings.

Got the first 2 from the BTS show in may from the guy who bred them (Alvin)in singapore. then i got another small sling beggining of this month. i have 1 100% male (pictured) one possible female. large juvenile and one unsexed but hopefully female sling

cool, I'm pretty new to the hobby so I've never been to the BTS show, I was hoping to make the next one but my wife is due to give birth on pretty much the same day so thats out :) I just haven't got a clue where to get T's from other than local petstores, guess I'll have to wait till the show after the next one lol :)

If you dont mind me asking. How much did you get it for? Singapore dollars. How could i contact him? I would like to get a few when i get back to Singapore.

Oh Man... I'm so jealous... Cyriopagopus sp. "blue" (or "ex Singapore", or whatever is my absolutely favorite T!!! :drool:

but what is their temperment like? Are they grumpy or spastic or something? Cute n cuddly? Quite curious...

These spiders are very skittish and have the ability to jump simmilar to avicularia sp. Ive not found them particuarly aggresive so far but they will certainly bite if provoked enough.
