A. versicolor (courtsey of JakeH)

She finally came out to pose after molting a month or so ago. Still a molt or two away from full maturity by the looks.

Avicularia sp. 'biceurianasistiaca' :? ~3.5". It's actually much more brown toned than blue in 'normal' light.

This one has been a good lesson for me in photo IDing, I see four different pic's of other similar T's, and come to four different conclusions. Then it molts again and I can start all over...

My Avicularia sp. "Isla Margarita" that I bought from Michael Jacobi last month molted a few days ago. I can't wait to see what it looks like when it grows up!

versicolor

Here's a picture of the male. He built a home in a corkbark hollow under the airplant. He is sitting above it (you can see webbing underneath him). All the webbing to the right of him is from the females home. He is drinking water from the airplant in the second pic.
Enjoy,
Mike

Can someone tell me if this Purpurea is in premolt? Looks very dark, black even without direct lighting and very clumbsy climbing anything! I suppose I'll know in a few days if it feeds or not however someone might be able to determine this through the picture.

Here's a quick pic I took after it pooped on me and jumped from my hand onto my bathroom counter, that's the first time it jumped on me, luckly the second time was in her enclosure. :)

That was about a week after his ultimate molt.

I'm honored you want it as a desktop :)

Very pretty new addition you have there. I'm very interested in seeing some adult photos down the road.
