As for aggression all i can say    My big girl about 5 inches, will literally flip over tryin to bite, she has even jumped in the air to get at me. And heaven forbid i mist her tank she goes insane, Sounds kinda like my P.Cancerides male,,now he's a mean beasty.

Brought it home today. It seemed pretty skittish at first and I wasn't too thrilled about moving it to its new home but it went in pretty easy without an escape attempt.

I saw that on the car ride home and while I was getting ready to move it to the KK.

The last spider that moved like that on the ride home, OBT, made an escape attempt when I was moving it into its KK.

After a few tries, I got this new one to walk into the KK and not try to run up the side and escape.

how will this work for A. Seemanni? i made the hide about 5-6" i used a large plastic water bottle cut the ends off (made sure no sharp edges) then burried it and made it look like a little cave. i added the flowers and some moss to hold a bit of moisture and add a forest look. the substrate is 1/2 potting soil other 1/2 the other stuff you soak in water by the brick lol. anyway. think this will work? thanks.

edit: not the best pics i know batteries were very dead. camera aint all that either.

how big is the t? also might want to put some holes in the side of the container as well

ps i think it was a good idea to cut the bottom end off. i made a burrow for mine and it wound up making its own tunnel from the bottom chamber, that wrapped up and around to meet up with the entrance i made. my roommate says the entrance was too steep. i just told him they can climb straight up glass.

setup looks good. I used to have one of those containers, and the ventalation is fine, no need to poke more holes.

Set up looks good. Everyone is right...you won't need any holes due to the lid having enough ventalation. Wolfy and I mist our seemani's about once or twice a week because we've found they don't really require it very moist at all. Would love to see a pic of the T once you've added it to their new home.

The ventilation is fine - if it's the container I'm thinking of, then the entire lid was plenty of ventilation.

pics

here are the pics spider included. i figure its a male based on its body style. know that isnt accurate but im sure. its a cool little spider, VERY skittish, fairly aggressive. attacked at me pouring water into the bowl. is now eating a mealworm so i guess it likes its new home. better than the deli cup eh? hopefully ill get it fattened up.

They are very cool T's. We have 3 of them and our one female is nuts and that's being very mild about it. She strikes at the water when we mist her tank, flips upside down in strike pose and when she's in a real mood, she'll empty all her shells and fancy stones out of her water dish and spread them all over her tank. She doesn't have an attitude at all....lol
