Its has tan colored web spinners on it. All of my A.seemanis have tan spinners.

I have heard though that there are different color forms A.seemani.

Nice! Good luck with him/her. I've got 2 Seemanis--they were fun to watch till both turned into pet holes! They really like to burrow.

your seemani's butt seems to be very bare... is he stressed?

Some 'exploration' pics of Ginny after I transferred her to her new tank last night. She certainly had a good wander, and throroughly tested the defences of the cage all night - fortunately, this one was custom designed for her personality, and there was no going anywhere for her ! Now I just wish she'd find that burrow I carefully made for her :)

Enjoy the pics - more coming soon...

Tank stuff...

Hi Karin

I left a post with some vaguely detailed instructions and some better photos of the tank before - so I'd better make sure you haven't seen that before going banging on about dimensions and really detailed stuff etc etc...

original post is at:

http://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/showpost.php?p=415383&postcount=23

and if you go to page 3 afterwards, there's an update with more information.

Having said that, the whole idea of this tank is to make Ginny feel supremely happy, but since I put her in at 11 PM last night, she's been pacing and climbing, and trying her damndest to escape ever since - thats nearly 12 hours of it !!

I think the cage is holding up to her assaults so far (as designed), but why the hell she won't go in her burrow and chill, i don't know.... still - it did take her at least a couple of days to settle down into the first tank I had, so maybe she will tire, find the damn burrow, and go lie in it instead !!

No doubt I'll keep us all posted :)
