It was a pleasure meeting Mr Rossi at the LA Bug Fair. I received two darling little Tliltocatl slings that had been on my bucket list since the moment they hit his list. I was blessed with sac mates, which I love raising…but don’t see too often; I’ve personally noticed a compromise between selection and quantity with other companies.

The slings were packaged well enough to spend a few days on the road…nights in the mountain, the beach, and days in the desert. The substrate was perfectly moistened and paired well with a gentle heating pad at night. Once home, I checked on them about an hour after rehousing them, and they had already dug multiple burrows. Love these guys!

This was my first time receiving spiders from Joe and the whole thing couldn’t have gone any smoother. I had 2 options to meet up with him both which required a bit of a drive, but Joe had just happened to be in my area and was kind enough to accommodate for meetup. As far as the animals go, I really enjoyed browsing his selection. Spiders are all healthy, active, and have nice size; he even sent photos of each sling as we texted. I don’t normally ask for sling photos, but it was actually nice to have a size reference of the animals and idea of their colors. Especially nice that he is local to the Southern CA region. He is a class act and an old timer in the hobby, and it shows. I am very much looking forward to getting more spiders from Joe in the near future!

My fourth time purchasing from Joe. As always he has a great selection. Spiders are all in great shape. Almost exclusively buy my spiders from him.

If you’re looking for something rare, you’ll find it with Joe. If you’re looking for awesome communication and excellent shipping even in cold weather you’ll find it with Joe. So glad I purchased another T. No issues whatsoever!

Its always wonderful purchasing from Joe! He always gets the nicest and healthiest tarantulas and packages them with little to no problems.

I had a tarantula molt in transit and the guy arrived with no visible damage. Joe definitely packages them very well!

Joe is simply the best!
We have quite a few tarantulas, though this was our first with Joe. We often have difficulty getting tarantulas in the winter months as we live in a very cold state. However Joe's packaging is top notch. Snow on the ground and the T was minimally stressed and arrived on time and very healthy.

Joe is also an excellent communicator and was very helpful. I truly appreciate his willingness to speak on the phone with us regarding the species we bought and ensuring us on how the purchasing process would go. Would give him 10 stars if I could.

I've done a lot of business with Joe, and each transaction has been an awesome experience. He always has access to some of the newest and rarest species on the market, often before anyone else does. Joe also takes the time to learn about all the species that he offers and is always willing to share tips on caring for them properly - he truly wants all of his customers to be successful keepers, and will glady share his vast knowledge.

Joe's communication is perfect, as well. We all know how frustrating it can be when dealing with someone that doesn't do a good job of letting you know what's going on clearly or in a timely manner, and that has never been an issue with Joe. He provides updates about my orders before I ever have to ask for them, and he remembers everything - I recently had a question about the lineage of a specimen I got from Joe 2 years ago, so I sent him a message and had the information I needed in 20 minutes. I don't think there are many vendors around that can/would do something like that, and it shows that Joe is a valuable resource for those trying to grow this hobby.

Joe's packaging is always to notch, too. Let's face it - FedEx sometimes struggles to get packages delivered, but I never worry about it when ordering from Joe. He packs his orders so well that even if the shipment takes an extra day or 2 to arrive because FedEx drops the ball, the specimens are always happy and healthy upon delivery.

Joe is a really nice guy with a large catalog of Ts for sale. We did an in person transaction. He communicated well even letting me know he was stuck in traffic so I would know what was up. In fact I overpaid him for the Chaco Golden knee I was purchasing, he could have walked with an extra $10 but he didn't (integrity matters) If you are local to the IE and you are tired of paying $50-$80 for shipping, or if you are concerned about the heat and shipping your spiders Joe is the way to go.

Will definitely order from again. Slings were very active and ready to explore right after being unpacked. Also has some rare, uncommon species. Communicated very well when figuring out shipping dates, etc. Genuinely a nice guy and a pleasure to do business with.
